If a team outperforms that… their record in 1 score games decreases by an average of 50% the following season. We won 5/6 1 score games last year (almost 6/6)… good for 83% of our 1 scores. Meaning this season we should be winning roughly 40% of our 1 score games. That would put us at 2-3 in 1 score games and 9-4 in the standings. We’re getting crushed here.

Because it makes for a more compelling product? The actual concerning point is that they haven’t had decades… the average margin of victory has actually shrunk and the the technology being used is better and they’re still having issues getting it right and holding referees accountable…

Except when a player missed a block, throws a bad pass or loses the ball in the air… those are errors made by actually participants in the game. That’s fine… because you know… they’re the ones who are supposed to decide the outcome in a game. Not the impartial 3rd party facilitating the game….

Why do they mean more? All-Pro selections are chosen solely by football writers, many of whom have never played the game and are just fans of the sport. Pro Bowl selections are chosen by peers, coaches and fans. Both mean something, but please explain to me why All-Pro means something and Pro Bowl means nothing?
