  1. Stunned to see the jokes. I guess I shouldn't be. Prayers for Zay.
  2. Can't see where it's in Dorsey's interest to squelch talk of interest in the #1 spot.
  3. The quotes are anonymous, however they may very well be planted to throw others off. Really can't trust anything except straight news this close to the draft.
  4. As Estro has said, you do this with the intention of packaging that pick with #22 to get to #3.
  5. I respectfully disagree. Development is about one x's and o's guy sitting down with the QB and teaching the position. "Organization" is far too nebulous to be of any help to a young QB. I'm ok with the Daboll hire but his national championship was won...wait for it...IN SPITE OF the play of his starting QB. Again, Daboll May be associated with winning but that's not the same as proving he developed a QB. Look I get it, you want to be optimistic. So do I. But I'm not convinced that we've moved the needle on our ability to develop a QB.
  6. Sorry but that's a complete non-answer to the question you were asked. Your central point seemed to be that we now have the ability to develop a QB. But when asked WHO is doing the developing, you point to "organizational stability" doing this? Sorry but if you're going to argue that point, you need to specify the name of the QB coach or OC along with their past developmental successes. Unfortunately, I'm not sure any of us can do that.
  7. I work with and supervise millennials; ergo, it bears investigating.
  8. How about day 2? This is Bradford we're talking about.
  9. You don't want to hear politics with your sports? Why that's shocking! These guys, like movie stars, have a platform, didn't you know that entitles them to tell you what to think? And you're supposed to think they're cool and informed.
  10. Schopp is unjustifiably condescending and is miserable about his vocational choice, Bulldog has a voice for print media, Jeremy White spouts opinion as fact and lives to shut down Howard's statements with a simple "no" (a great teammate he is). Howard is always depressed about something (I wonder why). The only decent guy is Sal, but he can be wierdly combative on Twitter (so I'm told).
  11. I like this as well. Great leader and basically a coach now, per Jets reporters.
  12. Sir, what do you think posting that, says about you?
  13. Far too brittle. Really hope this is just leverage building to land Foles.
  14. Even when dealing with the Saints, Brees' salary demands have been astronomical. He'd take 100% of a team's cap if someone would give it to him. I can only imagine what he'd do in a negotiation with the Jets or Bills.
  15. Glad I got in before that policy was enacted. Got mine about 6 years ago.
  16. ** Nuanced point alert ** Looking at these numbers without any context can be misleading. To explain: To my knowledge the QBs weren't put through a drill where they were instructed to throw as hard as they can. Rather, each made choices about how they wanted to pass to make the completions. Take Jackson for example. I heard Mayock specifically say that Jackson wasn't really ripping it, he was playing it cautiously and aiming the ball to ensure completions. If you accept Mayock's observation, you have to interpret Jackson's 49 as an aimed throw 49, not as his top speed nor necessarily reflective of his arm strength.
  17. I think it would be irresponsible to move up several spots for such a risky prospect. If they're gonna give up a ton, I believe it will be for a more sure think like Darnold or Rosen.
  18. Equanimeous St. Brown. Seriously? Sounds like a name Key and Peele would make up.
  19. Tagging Tyrod would be like having end zone seats for the home opener and trying to sell them for $100,000 based on the hope/theory that raising the price exorbitantly automatically makes something more attractive. Nice idea but guess who's gonna be stuck with their tickets unsold?
  20. But Thompson was as close as our WRs come to being a proven playmaker.
  21. I think this is probably the plan, athough I'd really enjoy getting to see Dawkins and Glenn as our bookends.
  22. No credit for getting the last game right? Jeez. ?
