  1. Mark Anderson. Great rookie year, then nothing till NE (of course). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AndeMa21.htm Also, how about Mike Furrey. One good season with Detroit in 2006, ok 2007, and nothing Steven Ridley comes to mind as well. Robert Edwards, although that was injury.
  2. I wonder how many new fans we’ll get for this?
  3. So I can’t speak to what happened to Foster in 2019, but one thing I’ve thought about is isn’t it interesting that everyone Allen has played with has had their best years with him, even going back to his rookie season? Foster, Beasley, Brown (had a similar year with Arizona), Diggs, Zay Jones. Basically, guys like Brady and Rodgers have always made those around them better. I wonder if we are seeing a little of that already with Allen.
  4. Yeah, I don’t get that argument. If you want to argue that Ertz isn’t good, go for it. But if you think more weapons won’t help, I don’t know what to say. Look at TB. It’s not as if all their receivers had 1000 yards. But the point of all their weapons is you don’t know who to plan against. Double Godwin, Evans has a big day. Double Evans, Godwin goes off. Try to take away both, Miller or Brown step up. Here, I’d say we are doing really well as far as weapons go. But we can be better. Maybe it’s a better receiving threat out of the backfield. Maybe it is a TE. Maybe it’s more speed or more speed with size as well. I don’t have the answers, but adding talent is never a bad thing.
  5. Maybe it’s silly, but for 2 years now, I was eying 2021 as the year to make a big jump and win 12 to 13 games, since we knew 14 of the 16 games. It has seemed like the easiest year in a long time to me. However, what I never expected was for us to win 13 this year, mainly based on the schedule. I thought we could win 9 or 10, and still be much better than 2019 despite the win total. So who knows how we’ll do in 2021 as we are certainly further ahead than I would’ve thought. But at the same time, we all know that a schedule that looks easy beforehand doesn’t necessarily translate to an easy schedule once it starts playing out. But regardless, even if teams like Jax, Houston, Carolina, Jets, etc all take a step forward, after last year, I don’t really care. We proved we can beat good teams and stay in every game. So once again, I assume we will be playoff bound, barring injury, and get another shot to make a run and see where it goes.
  6. This is where I am. It’s not so much that they beat us as it is the Mahomes is the greatest ever hype. I get it, he’s young and has been amazing. But this is Brady’s 10th SB. Mahomes would need to keep up what he’s done so far for another 12-15 years before he is Brady. While it may seem like that’s what will happen, 12 to 15 years is way too many to project. So I hope Brady destroys them if I were being honest.
  7. Definitely true as Tennessee can go 12-4 and Pitt 13-3 if they both win out
  8. Guess who’s getting a kidney? yes, I have listened to a lot of WGR and that commercial drives me insane
  9. While I tend to agree, I would think Metcalf or Brown being in buffalo would mean no Diggs. Brown and Beasley were FA pickups before that draft, so they would be here. Then you draft Brown or Metcalf in April. So when we might think of how nice it would be to have Metcalf, just remember (in my opinion) that the group would be Metcalf, Brown, and Beasley, not Metcalf, Diggs, Brown, and Beasley
  10. After reading other threads, i can just see the season being paused, and in that case, Brown could’ve healed without missing games (other than tomorrow). I could be wrong but a lot of threads (SF not allowed in their stadium and Denver no QB, plus Balt/Pitt mess) seem to paint a picture that it’s inevitable the season will pause. I don’t doubt they will finish it because of the $, but I can see a break.
  11. So when this season inevitably gets paused, does John Brown still have to miss 3 games? I kind of wish they didn’t IR him
  12. Funny how they have a positive this week and it’s game on, but last week they get a positive and the game gets delayed. Wouldn’t have anything to do with Newton and Gilmore back, would it?
  13. While it wouldn’t be an official competition, does anyone think each QB will air out at least one deep one? And I’m not talking 45 yards, but try to hit someone in stride 65 yards? That’s tough to do because you generally wouldn’t have time for that, but I can see each of them trying at least one really deep one
  14. Wow, McDermott rubbed off on him in just a short few months. His first sentence says to trust the process
  15. Here’s my non-expert opinion. Herberts best game is 23 points (twice though), so putting in Herbert probably won’t get you a win anyways. Allen’s worst game is 25, so go with Allen. Sure there’s risk involved, but Herbert is not a lock to get 23 while Allen probably will if we play
  16. No, we lost to the bengals after beating NE. We were 4-0 in 2008 though.
  17. I’ve used it for the past 5 years or so while I finished school and now while my brother finishes. You can stream to your tv. I have an appletv and have the Sunday ticket app. Any other device that connects to your tv works as well, but I found that appletv was by far the best and it never buffers. With the same internet connection, chromecast and roku were pretty bad for me. Just my .02.
  18. I think it was his 4th season. Wasn’t he drafted in 99?
  19. Maybe math isn’t my thing but the Washington home/road record doesn’t seem to be adding up for me
