Josh is truly a good dude. A guy with his level of talent who can literally play QB against anyone on the planet punch for punch should honestly be much cockier individual but he’s just a down to earth good human being.

I think there is a bias against Allen and has been since his rookie year. People outside Buffalo seem to think Allen is a product of a great organization and that his development has little to do with his natural talent it’s was more Daboll and Diggs etc….. Phill Simms today on the radio talking to Chris Russo even said Allen is even better then I thought he was. I’m sure that sentiment is with many people who don’t really follow up the Bills. I wish Josh where a little more cocky but he’s such a humble guy that him not being a real braggart to the press in todays modern sports probably hurts him too.

This was a topic on the radio today. It seems like the Ravens locking up Roquan means they are just going to franchise Lamar for one more year before he gets to expensive to keep. I guess they believe they can compete in the division with the Tyler Huntleys of the world in the future and build around their defense. Interesting strategy considering Burrow, Watson, and even Kenny Pickett showing some promise are in the same division now.

I don’t think people get it the bills can get up to 60 million in cap apace with restructures and can easily recoup draft picks by trading out of the first round when you don’t have an immediate glaring need like other teams it’s pretty easy to do this

People like to compare Mahomes and Burrow and the team that was built around them to Allen…the Chiefs and Bengals spent a combined nearly 200 million in guaranteed money to upgrade their olines the last two years…Beane doesn’t do that…the line is made up of low round picks, a good but concussion prone center, and 1 year free agents.

People want a piece of the Bills organization it’s not a shock I kinda knew was going to be GM soon. He was the chief scout for many of the guys on this roster.

People forget Kyler wasn’t like Russell Wilson or even Tom Brady back in the day where baseball was a hobby. He was a cornerstone Major League Baseball talent taken in the top 10 of the mlb draft. I always felt him looking at the contracts of Judge or Correa and thinking hey they don’t have to have 300 lbs defensive chasing him around and just catch ground balls.

Steph is an alphadog he wants his Super Bowl ring. He has his receiving records I highly doubt he would have any problem adding Deandre who would probably be in heaven having Allen throwing jump balls to him.

What I’m saying is he has a blind spot for the WR position. Even Beane knows he came up short evaluating it. Trying to sign Odell Beckham and having Josh throwing to guys like Brown and Beasley who didn’t have a team 5 weeks ago. Don’t be shocked if the Bills come up short if they aren’t talking to Arizona about Deandre Hopkins.
