Not sure I said he was great or anything; just stated he was a better version of Benjamin and not the most crisp of route runners. Am I wrong?

Tyrell Williams is a better version of Benjamin. Great hands, fast, and gives 100% effort. Not the greatest route runner but good enough.

Bottom line: Is he improving? Is he developing? The answer is yes and that is what most people stated they wanted to see coming back from the injury. While he still makes some of the same mistakes, such as holding on the ball too long or some accuracy issues, the ratio of mistakes versus good plays is steadily moving in the right direction. He's been more decisive with his throws and has shown the ability to extend plays and gain critical first downs. The game is beginning to slow down for him and I think getting Dabol out of the press box and on to the field has helped as well.

Meh. What's he putting out there other than disrespecting his fellow man; who I assume he will need support when it comes to CBA negotiations. He sure has been quiet that past few weeks, (shedding tears), and then wants to talks trash again. I guess to some that's cool and hip, to others find it disrespectful when it's off the field and never even met the man. To each their own.

WHY is Allen really starting?
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want my scalp Hans -
I follow the Mountain West and agree Allen was a good QB in college. Took a 2 win team before he became the starter to two straight bowl games; beat SDSU when they had Donnell Humphrey and beat Boise St who I believe was ranked 13 at the time. He wasn't a stat ***** and played on a bad team in 2017. Look at Wyoming now; they are back to playing like garbage.

That's why you are an elementary school teacher, janitor, or whatever. You start building the team around him, and if he flames out in a few years, at least you have the infrastructure in place for the next QB. Continuously drafting QBs without improving the talent around you equates to Cleveland Browns type management.

I agree with this. Could be a combination of many things, especially with coaches continuously preaching being smart with the ball, and as a rookie not trying to make rookie mistakes which cost the team. I think coaching reinforcement that would encourage him to let the ball rip and it's okay if your trying to make a play. He plays too overly cautious and doesn't trust his line, WRs, or obviously himself. This needs to be coached out of him, by allowing for the mistakes to happen. This is the only way he will learn and how he will gain confidence as he will see he can make those throws. I truly believe Allen's struggles are more directly related to coaching than anything else and hopefully Anderson will be the right mentor and coach to him that he is not getting from the OC and QB coach.

NFL worried about Chargers viability in LA
Lieutenant Aldo Raine replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Before the Chargers moved, San Diego residents voted down a Hotel Tax which would have went up like three percentage points and would have paid for the city's contribution to the stadium and then some. The only tax San Diego residents would have paid is if they stayed in a hotel themselves. Approximately 15 plus years ago, the Chargers offered to pay for the entire new stadium themselves if the city would grant them the land Qualcomm sits on. The city council voted that down. Sad situation.
