  1. Well, if you truly watched his college tape you have seen his blazing speed, knack for sensing, pressure, and his personality.
  2. I seriously thought Denver was taking him at #5 because they coached him and Mayfield at the Senior Bowl. Played in the elements at Wyoming, closely resembles a young Elway, etc. I also thought Chubb was going #4 to Cleveland. Worked out for the best I believe. I think the 2018 draft, especially the first round), will be one of the better drafts in a while.
  3. A kid who can throw 70 yds through the air with such velocity is a natural thrower of the football. Counter-jab
  4. At a minimum, he could be a special teams stand-out for sure. Has a nose for the ball and likes to tackle.
  5. Noticed you said nothing about wins. Do you just want to see better box scores?
  6. After watching some of these playoff games this past weekend with some of the best QBs in the league; I saw quite a few woeful throws and I kept thinking if Josh had thrown a ball like that, he would be skewered by the commentators and others alike based on a narrative. Only thing he can do is throw and play his way out of that narrative. Winning cures most things.
  7. I understand where you are coming from, but I think that is what makes him special. There will be games where he rushes for 10 yds and games where he rushes for close to 100. I don't have an issue as long as he does it when necessary and protects himself as best he can. Having a guy who can gain critical first downs or extend plays with his legs is a nice weapon to have. I think with better weapons and another year of tutelage will change the ratio in favor of using his arm more. I follow the Chargers too and while Rivers is a good passer, nothing more frustrating than seeing all the yards he leaves on the field or non-conversions because he is so immobile. Nice to develop a QB who can hopefully master both.
  8. Why? As long as he continues to improve in the passing game - why would you want to take that ability away from him. If the defense is going to give up lanes where he can gain critical first downs and big chunks, take what the defense is giving you. We all agree we want him to become a more complete passer, but don't take that part of his game away.
  9. Agreed. He turned out to be a great QB, kudos to the Chiefs. No sense in whining about it now.
  10. Ok, like Mahomes was the second coming going into the draft. He was evaluated like all the other Texas Tech QBs who throw up ridiculous numbers. Secondly, I was making reference to fans who like to play this shoulda woulda game.
  11. Well, there’s room on the Chief’s bus - maybe you should climb aboard.
  12. Oh, it’s definitely make believe. Hypothetical waste of time; Mahomes is not, nor ever will be a Bill.
  13. And now the Mahomes vs Allen debate rages on. Shoulda woulda coulda. Later tonight it will be Allen vs Goff or Prescott. I mean, earlier this week it was Allen vs the Clemson QB. Some of you just like to live in your make-believe misery.
  14. No skin in the game, but the refereeing was pretty bad in my opinion.
  15. You are correct and that's by design. We are a Constitutional Republic, but you knew that already!
  16. Is this the same 538 by Nate Silver who said Hillary was going to blow Trump out the water?
  17. Pretty sure the OP was having fun quipping into the future NFL wise; not comparing college careers.
  18. Good for him. He won't be available for the Bills in 2020 or 2021 because the Bills will be winning a ton of games! Sorry.
