Kid has put his heart and soul into this team and town, and is being picked apart by a bunch of couch potatoes for literally throwing one low pass and is being nit-picked for a dime he threw because it could have been six inches better from 20 yards. Grow up!

No, you are not alone. The radio announcers said the same thing. Two things about that play: (1) Allen definitely made a poor throw, and (2) Zay ran his route 5-6 yards past the first down marker before making his curl. Perhaps that was by design or perhaps he ran a bad route. However, Zay had made his curl before Allen uncorked the ball, so Allen could have made a better throw. That said, if Zay doesn't extend his route so deep, he would have been in much better position to catch the ball. Bottom line though, Allen just missed the throw and he knows it.

I haven't been able to watch the game (listening on the radio), but the radio announcer said although Allen threw a low ball to Zay Jones, he still could have caught it. True? Regardless, hopefully those throws become less and less over time.

Did Beane whiff with the O-line this year? Still early, but does not appear too impressive. Hopefully there are some quality cuts coming.
