Seeding does matter: #1 Seed is obviously a huge advantage because of the bye week and being at home throughout. #2 Seed gives you two home games. #3 and 4 give you at least one home game I tend to agree who we play does matter as much. Playing BAL, PIT, HOU, LAC, DEN is not all that different. I would say best case is the 2 seed and playing DEN (rookie QB). PIT beats BAL for us and we play PIT. Then if KC gets past HOU/LAC its on to KC.

Defense. They have one of the worst in the league. Outside of Hendrickson nobody has done jack. They have lost 4 games they scored 30+ and lost 6 games they scored 25. Better D and they could be a 2 loss team.

Not sure Benford plays a $20M role in McD defense. Her may be able to get the money elsewhere and if would not be surprised to see us replace him at a lower cost. Seems like they way the roll. The entire unit is more important than the pieces.

I really want to be higher on Kincaid. I want to see the hype. At times I do and then others he looks like any other guy. I am starting to think if he was just some 6th round pick, rather than a 1st, there would not be much talk about him - good or bad. Because most of the time he just looks like an average guy out there. And more like a big wide out than a TE. Problem with that is I have not seen the speed to beat guys or the power to out muscle them, so then what is the point. At the same time, I wouldn't be shocked to see him explode for 100yd games...but then I think is that just because we used a first on him that I think that?

Rebuilding year is when Allen is gone. Absent of that you cannot call it a rebuild. If you don't see it that way then the Chiefs are rebuilding every year or so and winning super bowls in rebuild years.

Add Chase, Jefferson, etc to this team and your nuts if you don’t think we are better. It may not be a must have when you have Allen but it would be very helpful if we did have. We are winning despite not having a 1 not because.
