Cook has no vision. Not sure why Dorsey forces him up the gut. -

If the Bills win tonight, does the narrative change?
ngbills replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
No - Bills win a close one or Bills lose a close one. Yes - Bills win a blow out or Bills lose a blow out. Bills are favored but many view this as a 50/50 game. But if the Bills lose it does in some ways validate that the division is not going to come easy. Winning will not change any narrative unless we just crush them. -
So lets play Bills no Diggs, MIA no Hill. Lets add that MIA cannot play Wilkens either and we wont play Oliver. Reality is MIA has Tua with Hill and Waddle. Its a bout who scores most points not whose QB is better.
-
If we are playing that game then we are in the same boat. The way Allen plays we are one of the more likely teams to lose a QB to injury. With Tua MIA has a very good O. Its more than just the LAC d sucks.
-
49ers are a good balanced team. They dont rely on any one player. One week its Deebo, the next its CMC, Kittlem or Aiyuk. The D is the same. They play well even when key players are out. DAL still has a lot to prove.
-
Hill and Wadle have a ton of speed. If Tua stays healthy and you scheme to get those guys the ball its a shootout. Your O does not show up and your not keeping up.
-
How would we look if Allen got hurt? Not pretty that is for sure.
-
Miami has a gonna be tough. Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. They have a ton of weapons and weapons can scheme to get guys the ball.
-
Preseason doesn't matter...seeing a lot of guys that didn't play struggle today.
-
Kelce lined up on the line 37% of the time last year.

Officials allowed the Chiefs to cheat the entire game

I just want consistency. If they want to change the rules and allow it then do that. What is frustrating is we will see other teams called for penalties if they try the same thing. It did hurt kc in the end as it was clear when they were passing vs running. But the whole game that little extra is all kc needed to slow Hutchinson. -
Well last year we heard the same thing. Let’s see but chiefs tend to save it for when it matters.
-
Just two years ago chiefs were 1-2 and then 3-4. Finished 12-5 and went to sb.
-
Happens every year early. People say chiefs are done and what happens.

What if we did not rag on Edmunds but ragged on the fact there was no post Edmunds plan? What if the Jets run for 300 yards against us are we not supposed to say would have been nice to have a MLB. What if ragged on not addressing RT in the draft or someone not named Quessenberry, Shell or Ifedi? What if Brown gives up 5 sacks in the first half and Allen is injured, are we not supposed to say would have been nice to address RT.

We are heading into a 12-5 season, maybe better.

A few things we have going for us: We get Jets and Raiders early with both teams having new QB's. We get JAC in London - better than in JAC. We get CIN coming off a Thursday game so have some extra rest. We get KC coming off a bye week. 2 of last 3 in warmer weather could actually be a good thing for injuries, etc. Going against us: Week 9-16 we have @CIN, DEN, NYJ, @PHI, @KC, DAL, @LAC...that stretch could be 5-6 losses if we are not playing well, have key players healthy, etc. End season with MIA if its a game that matters. JAC will not need to travel to London since already there prior week. DEN gets us coming off a bye. LAC get us coming off a THUR game. -

Vegas odds have Bills favored in every game but 4. So that puts us at 13-4. The Fins are at all but 6 so 11-6. The Jets are at 5 or 12-5. CIN is favored in 15 so 15-2. KC is at 17-0. LAC is at 12-5. JAC is at 11-6. BAL is at 11-6. -
The Bills will have the highest scoring NFL offense in '23

Calling this year's JAG's better is only possible because you know how last year worked out. Crowder was expected to be a huge upgrade and was a bigger known commodity than Harty or Sherfield. His signing last year was talked about much more than Harty or Sherfield. Additionally, after Davis in the KC game there was a ton of talk of the Diggs/Davis duo being the best in the NFL. The slot was more of the concern and again Crowder being a great signing for that role. Add in McK and the references to his huge NE game, he was going to be a great gadget WR now that he would get more chances. Lastly, Cook was called by many a WR not just a RB because of how big a role he would play in the passing game. So we heard a ton of the same last year. It was not until Crowder got hurt, McK didnt do much, Cook is not a WR hiding in the RB role, etc that it flipped on its head and now we say how much better this year is.
