  1. They are now a different team compared to the Chiefs team that we’ve been chasing the last couple of years. Even if they hit on some of these picks, They no longer have the most feared big-play threat in the NFL. At one time they did, but now they don’t. You could say that Tyreek Hill will decline in form/ability or that he already has, so this is a good move for the Chiefs. Either way, as a fan, I fear them less today than I did yesterday.
  2. If he stays healthy, this offense will be almost impossible to stop. Somewhere on the field there will always be a mismatch. Add to that, Josh’s ability to throw to any spot on the field, it puts so much pressure on the defense. And that’s before you consider he can tuck it and run past you or through you and he can even jump over you. Terrifying for defenses. OJ Howard can be Darren Waller if he’s healthy - Turned great when he got to his second spot. I’m picturing him and Knox down the seams in the playoffs. Would it be greedy of me to still want Cordarrelle Patterson? Imagine?
  3. Did the Jets defense play great today, or did the wind and elements play great against the bills today? Seems to me, the bills had the wind in the first quarter and in the fourth quarter and they look fine. In fact they racked up the yardage. In the second and third quarter when they were fighting the wind, they look like the worst offense in the league, except maybe for the jets.
  4. If he runs out of bounds they lose yardage. He realized that might happen too late and tried to stop to get rid of it.
  5. The bills might’ve been buried that day if not for Al Edwards kickoff return for a touchdown when they were down 10-0. I watched that play and I re-watched the instant replays five or six times. Absolutely textbook block by Steve Tasker because he got in front of the player he blocked. The touchdown completely changed Buffalo’s energy, that’s easy to see on video. But… if all that happened in 2021, the play probably gets called back for helmet-to-helmet contact by Tasker. If it was a college game, he probably would’ve been thrown out. It’s almost physically impossible to make a textbook block or tackle at full speed in the open field. I don’t know how the NFL accounts for this, but it’s already ruined some games and will definitely ruin some more. (The playing game vs the Texans comes to mind). I’m going to watch once more to see if I think Tasker could have made the block and avoided the helmet clash. Update: Just watched again. Watch the 3rd replay, the one from up close. It might be legit targeting.
  6. Technically, this started after round three ended. I’m pretty sure that a jellyfish would be a useless animal when it comes to playing in an NFL game. Don’tcha think?
  7. Totally agree on the 1T. I think it makes Oliver better. Shelvin. Bobbi Brown. Shelton. Marvin Wilson. I like that receiver from Stanford - Fehoko I think. And Marquez Stephenson from Houston. I like the cornerback Rochel. Central Arkansas.
  8. It was hard to have confidence in buddy Nix. But it was even harder to have confidence in that marketing guy that wore the 80s suits. Do you think if you could get a dolphin to punt, they would only be able to punt for the Miami Dolphins?
  9. Do you think an elephant would be able to snap the ball all the way between its legs to get it to the quarterback who was under center?
  10. I think all coaches should be artificial intelligence with a hologram of somebody really inspirational. They would never make mistakes that’s for sure. If the hologram was somebody like Tony Robbins this whole set up could be an amazing coach.
  11. How about a hummingbird on steroids that is 17 times the size of a normal hummingbird as your starting cornerback? Very few INT’s, but really solid coverage.
  12. Imagine a silverback gorilla on the d-line? Or a trained rhino at fullback?
  13. I don’t know if you can teach an animal to NOT flinch at the line of scrimmage. So many penalties.
  14. I wish Landon Dickerson was an option. Watch any Najee Harris highlight reel. But instead of watching Najee Harris, pay attention to the center Landon Dickerson. It’s pretty ridiculous how he blows people off the line and run place, and he picks up everybody that comes at him when it comes to pass plays. He’s injured both of his knees, otherwise I’ve got to believe he would’ve been a sure fire first round pick. If he could stay healthy it completely changes the make up of the offense of line for years to come. They go from adequate finesse center in Mitch Morris, to a bully that would completely protect Josh Allen for the next decade and open up running lanes for whoever Buffalo has back there.
  15. I’m getting a Charles Clay vibe. I don’t know if that’s off-base. They both seem like athletic undersized tight ends. Clay probably got paid more than what he was worth to the team those few seasons. Clay also dealt with any issues. Bottom line, is John Smith on the rise, or have we already seen the best of him?
  16. I think that for a lot of the people who are down on this pick it’s partly psychological. The Bills didn’t pick in the first round, so in a way it might feel like Epenesa was their first round pick. I think he’s almost being judged like a 1st round pick when he wasn’t. Imagine for a moment that the Diggs trade wasn’t made and Ceedee Lamb slipped a few more spots and the Bills picked Lamb first and then Epenesa fell into their laps in the 2nd. I think the rhetoric would sound very different. By the way, I believe Diggs will be better than Lamb, especially over the next 3 years, and I absolutely love Epenesa and had my fingers crossed for him the entire time, never imagining he would actually fall. He’s an absolute beast.
  17. Horrible, Terrible QB play can do that to you.
  18. Gandy-Golden or Peoples-Jones (athletic freak that has time to learn the nuances of the position from Diggs)
  19. In a normal year he would have had a pro day and cleaned up his 40 (maybe 4.8), and he’d be the 17th pick in the draft. This guy has been a stud throughout his college career. I’m a Penn State fan and he absolutely terrorized them every game. Frankly, I’m shocked he was still there.
  20. Rooting for Epenesa. I’d be excited with Dobbins too.
