  1. If he's including receiving yards, it's not impossible that he could have done it, but he was barely on pace for that before Singletary started getting a bigger workload and it's entirely possible if not probable that his production would have declined as the season went along even if he were getting the same touches that Singletary did. At any rate, doesn't really matter and I wish him the best.
  2. It’s gonna suck not having college football but this makes sense. I don’t have much hope for the NFL or MLB either but we’ll see.
  3. No, limiting your contact with people would definitely be safer than going to work where you're in close contact with a ton of people all day.
  4. It's almost like it's a really important decision that they want to take as much time deciding on as possible.
  5. I would definitely rather keep him than trade him for an Adams-type package. The Adams-type package was a great return for the Jets though, and if we absolutely had to trade Tre for some reason, I would be happy if that were the return. But again, just get the deal done to keep him here and continue building this thing.
  6. I'd probably rather roll with Norman and Wallace outside than signing Ryan to play there.
  7. Not entirely sure what you were getting at with your response to me but in case the implication is that I learned this from a biased news source, I was watching the Fox interview live when he said it lol. I would guess CNN, MSNBC, etc. are running with him literally saying they’re immune but as I said, he corrected himself and said they’re virtually immune instead, which is still horribly misleading and dangerous. He did at least acknowledge that returning to school is legitimately putting teachers in danger.
  8. And also in the White House. He said today that kids are "totally immune" and then corrected himself and said they're "virtually immune" from the virus.
  9. Yeah, QB sneaks and the unsuccessful Frank Gore dives that pissed everyone off. 23 grouping isn't really something that I want to see increasing; pretty much means we're shrinking the field and making ourselves easier to defend. There's a reason Baltimore led the league using this grouping at 16 total snaps.
  10. As far as just like an "every summer, easy-ish to get to" kinda vacation, the Outer Banks or Adirondacks are probably my favorites. As far as more special trips go, some of my personal favorites I've been on are: Belize - Spent a week inland checking out Mayan ruins (which I've always been very interested in) and then spent a week on one of the islands just relaxing, snorkeling, etc. Spain - The two places I went to were Barcelona and San Sebastian. Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in the world. San Sebastian is pretty much a perfect vacation spot; world-renowned food (I think it has the most Michelin-star restaurants per square mile or something like that) and world-renowned beaches. Australia - My partner spent most of her childhood in Melbourne, so going back and meeting all of her relatives was great. Melbourne itself is an awesome city. Great wine, great food, and Aussie-Rules Football is a super fun sport. We also spent a week up in Cairns where we did snorkeling, zip-lining, feeding/holding koalas, kangaroos, etc. Singapore - The architecture and urban planning that went into building Singapore is insanely cool to me. Great food and great shopping if you're into that sort of thing.
  11. The Bucs are like one of the youngest teams in the league. They just have a couple old players, one of which being Shady who will be part of a 3 RB committee if he makes the team.
  12. I don't know the exact numbers but I know it's definitely low compared to other American pro leagues. Kind of a chicken or the egg deal though. It's hard to bring in the revenue to justify paying big name players without paying big name players first.
  13. I do think it would help, but the bigger deal is that they just have a very low salary cap right now. Until teams agree to lift that and actually start spending with the big boys, it's going to remain a significantly inferior league. Players are interested in playing in America, but we simply won't pay them right now. Ibrahimovic was the highest paid MLS player in league history at roughly $7 million when his previous team was paying him over $27 million. MLS is still enjoyable to watch; I was really excited to get out to Audi Field to see some of the DC United games this summer. But I think the appetite is certainly here in America to enjoy soccer and big name players are interested in playing here too. The only thing we're missing is the owners agreeing to start paying its players .
  14. I can't speak to the Soros part, but the bolded flat out isn't true (at least not yet). People like Candace Owens have been pushing that theory based on the fact that BLM uses a donations portal called ActBlue to collect donations. But she and many others have misconstrued what that actually means. When someone donates to the correct BLM group (there's another "organization" that's been created with a very similar name to try to get accidental donations), the donation passes through the ActBlue portal and is then distributed to BLM. ActBlue does the same thing for most Democratic political campaigns. If you donate to the Joe Biden campaign for example, the money goes to ActBlue and is then distributed to the Biden campaign. But people like Owens have been trying to lead people astray by saying that instead of BLM donations going through ActBlue to BLM, ActBlue is just taking that money and sending it to the Biden campaign or the DNC instead and that flat out isn't true. BLM, to this point, also has not donated any of the money they've received to the Biden campaign or DNC (though it wouldn't surprise me if that happens at some point since their goals at least partially align). And people like Owens know that they're peddling lies because there's literally an identical setup for Republican campaigns and right-leaning organizations called WinRed that does the same exact thing. If you donate to the Trump campaign, the money goes to WinRed and is then distributed to the Trump campaign. Likewise if you donate to a random candidate running for Congress in Utah or something like that. There's plenty of reasons to use to argue that you shouldn't donate to BLM, but the idea that donations to them simply get sent to Biden or the DNC is (at least for now), total BS.
  15. I think more likely since it's open-ended, you get some voters projecting 2020, some voting strictly based off 2019, and others simply voting for friends, teammates, etc. That's how you end up with guys that were injured last year but are still considered elite players (Big Ben & Adam Thielen for example) not making the list, guys like Larry Fitzgerald making the list, and guys like Kenny Golladay not making it. Also probably how Lamar ends up #1; he was the MVP of 2019 so he gets votes based strictly off 2019 and he's also just insanely popular around the league so he gets the votes from guys that are just voting for friends and stuff. And how guys like Wentz end up not being on the list due to even his own teammates not necessarily supporting him.
  16. With good reason lol. Wentz and Golladay gotta be among the biggest snubs.
  17. Now that we know who the top 10 is, it looks like this is how our guys were ranked by position: Allen: #12 QB behind: Lamar (top 10), Mahomes (top 10), Wilson (top 10), Brees (#12), Brady (#14), Rodgers (#16), Watson (#20), Garoppolo (#43), Dak (#46), Cousins (#58), and Tannehill (#68) Tre: #4 CB, behind: Gilmore (top 10), Sherman (#28), and Ramsey (#37) Diggs: #8 WR behind: Thomas (top 10), Hopkins (top 10), Julio (#11), Hill (#22), Evans (#30), Godwin (#38), and Amari (#49)
  18. He had somewhere between 6-8 drops, including at least 1 or 2 TDs and 1 of the INTs. All of his receivers basically turned into Dawson Knox for one game and the Ravens defense was dominated all game. The Bills and Steelers were really the only two teams that gave him a very hard time.
  19. That's when the new season is expected to start. They just finished their season this past weekend.
  20. That's because Covid is barely a thing in the UK right now. They've had 18,000 new cases in the past month. We have roughly 4 times that many per day.
  21. He was pretty good against Tennessee actually. No doubt the Chargers shut him down the prior year though.
  22. It's amazing what happens when you only have a couple good players each year. Still, despite having probably the worst running game in the league over the past 6 years and one of the worst defenses over the past 6 years, they have a winning record with Stafford as the starting QB.
  23. Logan Ryan literally gave up the most yards in the NFL of any corner and is: 1. on the list 2. higher than guys like Marlon Humphrey lol Also Jimmy G being ahead of Dak, Tre, a bunch of others. Larry Fitzgerald being ahead of guys like Keenan Allen.
