  1. Why would the jets ever trade with us when they need a QB too?
  2. I think this actually only leaves Indy at 3 to trade with. Browns take Darnold, Giants take Barkley, and then the Browns cannot pass up on Fitzpatrick or James at 4. Only question is does Indy what Chubb that bad or are they willing to gather up more picks and speed up th3 building of their D.
  3. I think they feel comfortable with Clay and O'leary. As for a wide receiver they are probably letting the dust settle on free agency to try and grab a receiver on the cheap. Wide receiver contracts have totally blown up this off season and the Bills can't afford to pay them prices right now.
  4. Or the guy they move up for can be a bust as well.
  5. Anything's possible I guess, but I don't think they make all these moves to gather more draft capital and then not draft a qb high.
  6. You don't know me or have a clue who I am. This may be one of the most ignorant things I have seen posted on here to date. Give me a good reason why we need five threads all discussing the same thing.
  7. Anything to clean this mess up. I followed this forum for a couple years before I decided to make an account and post anything on here. It used to be so crisp and clean and easy to find things. Now people just start a thread filled with nonsense.
  8. Should make a rule where you have to have a certain number of posts and a certain rep score to create a thread.
  9. Enough is enough with these horrible threads that go absolutely nowhere.
  10. Says it all right there
  11. Without doing any research I would imagine shorter qbs overcome their height disadvantage more so than a qb with accuracy issues does at the NFL level.
  12. Under 6'2'' all day long
  13. I don't think anyone has ever said a fast QB is a run first QB. A run first QB is one who doesn't read through all his progressions and just takes off running.
  14. Ok I understand where you're coming from on that. You're absolutely right about Mayfield, he was light out during that portion. Personally Mayfield is the QB I want to see the Bills draft.
  15. Darnold is the number 1 in this class too. Him not throwing at the combine is not an unusual thing. There are a ton of guys who didn't throw at the combine and it never hurt there draft stock. I think his decision was clearly a business decision and in no way reflects his character as an earlier poster had stated.
  16. Andrew Luck didn't throw at the combine. Didn't seem to effect his draft status at all. Darnold like Luck is the number 1 qb prospect in this class.
  17. I disagree, I think this was purely a business decision. Making great throws isn't going to increase his draft stock but making poor throws or showing poor mechanics could definitely hurt his draft stock.
  18. Last year a running back and center were drafted from his team. Carson Wentz only had 2 tackles drafted from his team's in his entire college career and Wentz completion percentage was way better. The big thing with Josh Allen is accuracy rarely improves and the next level and he has accuracy issues.
  19. Well good thing you're not a gm. Every gm in the league would want their pick from the full group so they can get their guy. As far as Darnold not throwing he really has nothing to gain at the combine but he has something to lose with a poor showing.
  20. I think teams are going to want next year's first over 22 this year. They are going to bank on the Bills being worse next year.
  21. Don't get mad because he's right.
  22. It will cost you more to get up there then you will ever recoup from a Barkley trade. The NFL is not Madden where you can force trades. C'mon man.
  23. Then why are you questioning the process right now? Relax and let it play out.
  24. Completion percentage is a huge part of determining success at the next level. However, you have to take into consideration certain factors like dropped passes for example. Both Jackson and Rosen had a ton of dropped passes for them. Like you said systems play a huge part in college QBs sucessfulness. Bottom line is if it were as simple as looking at completion percentages, tds, and picks then there would never be a bust in the NFL. It's just not that simple and so many more factors go into scouting QBs.
