  1. Yes because Dalton isn't afraid to throw into double coverage or give him a back shoulder pass and actually give Green a chance to showcase his skills. How would you know Aj Green was any good if Dalton never threw him the ball.
  2. Do you really believe this is the reason why he didn't work out here? Last I checked it's the qb who makes the receivers good not the receiver who makes the qb good.
  3. The only way to consistently keep winning is to get a franchise qb and the best way to do that is to trade up in the draft and grab one. The qbs hitting free agency are hitting the market for a reason. A true franchise qb does not become available through free agency teams lock them up at all costs.
  4. Do you think they move up and draft a qb as well?
  5. The odds of winning one even with a stacked team are slim. A lot can happen over the course of a year that can even derail a stacked team. I think a team needs a good balance between win now mode and plan for the future.
  6. Looks like the Rams are going all in this year and forgetting about their future.
  7. Talk about rewriting the record book.
  8. Exactly look at Josh Gordon on the Browns. He is very good receiver, but that still didn't do anything for them in the terms of winning.
  9. Great athletes don't always make great football players. There is no doubt in my mind every kid that gets drafted, even in the late rounds is a great athlete. Bottom line is it does matter who you draft. You need to find guys who are going to be great football players, not just athletes. Above all though finding the great qb is what really makes or breaks franchises.
  10. I have to go qb foe all the choices. No matter how great a receiver is they can't win a game by themselves. After all they need to have a good qb to get them the ball.
  11. The polygraph goes hand in hand with the psychological portion of interview process. There is actually a psychologist present during the lie detector.
  12. Take a state police lie detector test for a job and you will see these questions are actually more on the sensitive side then what is asked at the conbine.
  13. There is zero chance any gm in the NFL is going to come out and tell anyone what his draft strategy is. That would just be plain stupid and drive the price up on a trade up.
  14. I agree with you, Steratore is a joke. This however, wasn't the first time a referee used an index card to measure for a first down. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/cowboys-raiders-nfl-ref-index-card-2017-12
  15. I think that would be a great move for the browns to make. Not only do you grab the best player in the draft, you can get the top qb as well. This would be the only sure fire way to grab Barkley and the qb of their choice.
  16. So you would just do what they have been doing the last 20 years. Let the 5th or 6th rated qb fall to you and pray this guy is somehow different then all the other 2nd tier qbs of the last 20 years. It's rare a 5th or 6th rated qb works out in the NFL. So by going this route odds are in 2 years you would be back to where you began with no qb.
  17. Ok, what's your answer to the qb problem then?
  18. If you land your franchise guy no one is gonna complain about giving that up. This is why they made all the moves last year. They can overpay to get their guy without really overpaying. You really only lose a 1st next year.
  19. If Cousins end up in a Vikings uniform there is no chance he is still on the board at 7.
  20. Didn't the Bills try to trade for him last year and Miami said they would not trade him within the division?
  21. But yet free agents keep signing with them for discounted rates because it seems winning fixes everything.
  22. Man I hope he does fall to us but it's a longshot.
