If Mayfield were a couple inches taller I think there would be a legit debate about him going first overall.

You can't even compare these incidents with Johnny Manziels problems. Manziel was constantly getting into trouble every time you turned around. Mayfield got drunk and loud once and that's all you heard from him on that front.

I don't get why everybody says Johnny Manziel 2.0 in terms of Mayfield. The only thing they have in common is their height.

I know it can be undone but I think the tag would put them over the cap. I just don't see a team trading any assets for cousins when they know the redskins would have to pull the tag before free agency begins.

I think the redskins saying they are going to tag and trade him is just talk. They don't have the cap room to do this. Plus the risk of them getting stuck with him all year is not worth the reward of the draft pick they will receive.

You would be better off just keeping Taylor. Their production throughout there career is very similar and Taylor is already familiar with the team. Plus Taylor doesn't bring the media circus with him that Kaepernick does. By the way I am not on board with the Bills keeping Taylor.

They had a whole 90 more yards given to them by the refs. That's a free length of the field traveled. Even during the halftime show they said well your in Gillette so the flags have to come out. It's becoming so obvious that NFL broadcasters are beginning to comment on it.

I mean that's highly debatable too since the Pats got 100 yards from the refs while the Jags only got 10. Average NFL yards per play is roughly 5.5 so do the math on who made more plays in a 4 point game.

So you think 4 qbs go top 10 because Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield are all better prospects then Allen is. Allen is a super raw talent that couldn't even complete 60% of his passes against weak college opponents. I'm not saying Allen sucks I'm just saying he has a way lower floor than the other 3 ahead of him. He also has a way higher ceiling but that Is a huge gamble for a top 10 pick.

This has to be the reason they made the moves they did this year. This front office realizes they need a qb at all costs. They set themselves up to trade up to get their guy while still keeping the enough of the 2018 draft picks to fill out the roster with some quality players.

In Buffalos case this year yes. I'm just saying if you have a chance to land the "franchise" guy you should do whatever it takes to get him because franchise qbs don't grow on trees.

I agree a ton hinges on the whole Cousins situation and where he ends up. As for the Jets I'm not sure what route they go. It's no secret they need a QB but I think they may want to fill their roster out a bit more before drafting their guy.

Where do you think he goes? And what qb do you think will be available at 21? I personally think Rudolph, Jackson, and Allen will still all be on the board at 21.

Hes only got 1 year left on his deal Hes 33 years old Jimmy G was traded for a 2nd Highly unlikely a team will give up a first considering these things
