Gotta have a partner to trade with. If no one is willing to trade with the Bills how are they supposed to move up? Plus Bradford has already been drafted lol.
Ok I most of misunderstood them on the radio this afternoon. They made it sound like he just said that today. Just one question though. Why did shady offer him 300k to play this year then?
Remember when we won the off season? We all know how that year turned out. In all seriousness though I think the Bills are going to fill a lot of their holes with guys who get cut after June 1st. This way they can determine exactly what they need after the draft.
Just go by the law of averages then. Top talent comes at the top of the draft it's a no brainer. The guys you mentioned are outliers. Could your scenario happen sure but odds are in favor of top players being taken at the top. Plus I havnt seen anyone say it's impossible to get a QB outside the top 10. I have seen many state it's improbable which is absolutely true.
Just stop. You're cherry picking data from one draft. This is not the norm for a draft and you know that. Why don't you go back and look at more than one draft and find out which round has better qbs.
Dont forget about the Mike Evans play as well. Instead of just reviewing after the play though they should go all the way and adopt the college targeting rule.
Yes I have watched game tape on both of these guys. Accuracy is the single most important trait for a QB. In an RPO offense it's even that much more important because of the short quick throws. Athleticism is pretty much irrelevant when evaluating a QB look at Brady and Manning. As for arm strength Rosen has plenty strong enough arm to hit all NFL throws. What good does it do Jackson if he can throw the ball a mile but not hit his target?
I agree Smith is gonna be a stud in the NFL. I personally feel that trading up to acquire a MLB is a waste when you could get a comparable player in Edmunds and some people even say Evans at 12 without giving up anything. I say only trade up for a QB because of the importance of the position. I also completely disagree with your assessment of Rudolph. He is going to be a career backup at best. So if Baker is on the board and the Bills draft Smith over Baker a ton of fans are going to lose their minds.
Complete waste of draft capital. Do not trade up unless the trade up is for a QB plain and simple especially when Mayfield is still on the board. This would just be a dumb move by the Bills.
