Not gonna disagree with any of that. Problem is Tyrod had far greater issues then just his deep ball. Plus I am a firm believer in the idea that the qb makes the wr not the other way around. Just look at what Robert Woods did this year. Tyrod had both Woods and Watkins on his team just like Goff did and look at the difference in production from them two.

Everyone that has argued yards doesn't matter doesn't take into account the fact Tyrod regressed from season 1 to season 3 as a starter. Every example people use such as Brady and Brees is nonsense because both of these guys showed steady improvement from year 1 and beyond. Brees did have the hiccup in year 2 as a starter but showed steady improvement in year 3 and beyond. Plus let's take a look at average passing yards per game from then until now. I bet there is a difference.
-
Look at brees' 3rd year as a starter not his 3rd year in the league. If you want to argue years in the league tyrod has regressed over years 5 through 7 where as Brees was on a steady increase in production from his 3rd year and beyond. Tyrod has gone backwards since year one as a starter Brees has not. How many qbs still make it on a NFL roster after a decrease in production for 3 straight years with already being average at best?
-
Biggest difference here is tyrod had 3 years and regressed over them 3 years. He was afraid to make throws or just didnt see open guys. I should have led with that. Brees improved from one year to the next. If brees continued the ame path as the year you stated he would have been out of the league but he didn't he improved where as tyrod did not improve.

Two games with under 100 passing yards and 6 more with under 200 really isn't doing enough to stay on a NFL team.

I thought you were just talking about putting the shooter to death because you said this

Our founders also allowed public executions held in the town square.

Yep its because PFF has many more resources available to them then any NFL team could ever dream of having lol.

They're out of their minds if they think Edmunds is a reach.

What would it take to get a player like Tyler Lockett
Zebrastripes replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or Beane and mcdermott realize poor qb play leads to poor wr play. Maybe they think they will get better qb play this year which will lead to better wr play and we will all forget about needing a "star" wr. -
I imagine you use your head to break your fall as well.

Sabres & NHL 2017-18 - Entry Draft on June 22

Kind of like Pittsburgh and Chicago did. Then they had a couple high draft picks then won the lottery. The rest is history. -

Ya he did have a rough series but I think he will bounce back from that and be a full time NFL guy next season. -

I know I'm in the minority on this but i dont think Lehner was our problem. Our defensive zone play was horrific and our defenseman couldn't pass to save their lives. Lehner did allow some cheap goals but overall I don't think he was the problem it was our defense and puck possesion. -
Buffalo Buds Draft Grades

I wish I had your magic power to see the future. To state the Bills have missed on a prospect before he has ever taken a snap at the NFL level is pure ignorance. -
RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
Zebrastripes replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It still doesn't change the fact that he put his career in the line by moving up and going to grab Allen. Call me crazy but I don't think many people are going to put their careers on the line for plan c as you suggest. As much as everyone is bashing on Allen, Beane moving up to 7 to get him I think shows he was Beanes guy. Beane had a shot at everyone besides Mayfield. So at the very least Allen was plan B, but I truly feel as though he was Beanes plan A. It was reported for weeks leading up to the draft the Bills were in love with Allen. Just for the record I wanted Rosen. -

Just stop. Beane knew who he wanted and went and got him. He didn't want to settle for someone's sloppy seconds. -
Don't start a thread with a ridiculous topic then run and hide. At least defend your position on the topic, otherwise it just looks like you have no clue on what you're talking about.
