It says way more about Diggs that we were willing to eat S30M in dead cap. That says a lot about how they viewed his abilities at this stage and how badly they wanted him gone.

Look at what guys like Keenan Allen, Amare Cooper etc went for. It's a fine return. Preferably we wouldn't have traded him to an AFC contender, but if they made the best offer it is what it is.

Nothing significant really from Beane, but I do think he has a plan and is going to replace stef in a big way. Should be an interesting couple of months.

Before I would have said stay out and take who is left. After the trade, yes absolutely we should move up and we have the ammo. The extra second makes it easier to trade away a top pick next year. 1 + 1 for BT 1 +1 +2 for Rome Time to make a splash

I think next year's first is very much in play, now that we have 2 seconds next year. I'd have no problem trading it for BT or RO. I think we are going to see an aggressive move from Beane.

This year's first plus next year first and our second next year. Will still have an early 2nd next year from Houston (Minnesota). Get er done.

I remember being shocked when this happened. I haven't looked at chart values but it feels like one of the most lopsided draft pick trades I can remember. Hopefully we can pull off a similar move. . The Vikings traded the 12th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft within the division on Thursday night. Minnesota sent the selection to the Detroit Lions, along with the 46th overall pick in the second round, in exchange for the 32nd, 34th and 66th overall selections this year.

No denying the jets will be much better next year, they've had a great offseason. All comes down to Rodgers and what he looks like post injury.

Of course it was a coaching issue. We all know that. The defense they lined up in was 100000% a play you call in the very specific situation where the offense has very little time and ZERO TIMEOUTS. They lined up way back and we're defending the sidelines. Whoever was calling the plays had a panic attack and forgot KC had timeouts. It's the only explanation. That's why he mentions that even a college team could have went down the field. Because KC didn't have to do anything. We left the middle wide open as if time would run out. It was an all time blunder. One of the biggest botched endings in NFL history.

Not sure what McBeane has against drafting DTs in later rounds. Bring in some young bodies with potential. He loves filling in the depth at DT with vets that end up being useless.

Definitely not thanksgiving and definitely not Christmas so I guess week 1 by default.

Good for him, seriously. I figured a team likely wouldn't sign him until summer and that it would be for less money. That's a nice deal for him.
