Ian Thomas got $5M. Last year Smith got $12M and Everett $6M. Njoku who's had what, one good game in his career got the franchise tag.
The going rate for bad TEs is crazy. $7M is the minimum he will get.
I could see the Bills trading Edmunds (I don't know if I actually believe that or if it's just wishful thinking), but I doubt they do that just to sign a $15M a year LB.
Would think they would just draft one to replace him.
Is he really even a TE, or more like the dude in Miami except with no hands? Can he block?
It would be crazy to pay him $8M.
Gronk is an elite blocker, which is what we need in a second TE.
Von Miller is two years older and went for more as a half season rental.
I get that it's also a salary dump for the Bears but damn, how did they only get a 2nd.
3 straight years with less than 10 sacks, he would obviously be our best d lineman but he's not the same player he used to be.
Also, a good time to point out again that the Bills are in a division with the Jets, Patriots and Dolphins 🤣
I just randomly looked up Jones stats after seeing this. He has 223 career rushing yards over 11 seasons.
That's pretty incredible.
Guy hung around 11 years as a special teamer/reserve RB.
Imagine trying to trade for Rodgers and Wilson and ending up with Wentz, lol.
I'd take Mitch over Wentz, and they wouldn't have had to give up any picks.
