This is a risk-reward scenario. Bradford, when healthy, is better than Keenum, and is probably better than Cousins. If Zimmer started him in the Vikes-Eagles game, Vikes are probably in the Super Bowl. You are getting a possibly elite player for a low cost, but he might get injured. I think it is a good risk to take with the current free agent landscape. I think Foles winds up in Arizona. They can't be going into Larry Fitzgerald's twilight years with a rookie and Mike Glennon.

I tend to agree. I'd rather not lose the comp pick game and roll with an older Brian Cushing for year. I know, I know, PEDs....but the FA landscape doesn't look great and the guy is a "heart and soul" type player who you could plug right in at MIKE. Our DB coach John Butler would be very familiar with him.

Waaaayyy too early to freak out. This is a stupid market right now for WR. You have to wait it out imo. Guys are going to get cut because these teams are spending some ridiculous money.

He was tied to us very early, like during the season, and so was Rosen. The pre-combine stuff is usually closest to the truth. The information usually comes from scouts and people of that nature and focuses on which players are really being scouted by which teams. It isn't media hearsay stuff. Therefore, I believe it is either Rosen or Darnold. If Beane saw USC vs UCLA, I am not sure how he could come away think Darnold is better than Rosen. USC got the win, but Rosen was clearly the better QB.

I would think that McDermott loves Vander Esch. I think he is the perfect fit at MIKE as well. What we do at that position in this offseason is probably the second most important decision after quarterback. All I know is that Preston Brown is not the guy for us.

Love having him back. He needs to be a Bills lifer. Now we need to draft a new 3 tech to rotate with him. If Kyle could be more of a part time player he will be much more effective imo.

So remember when Tyrod threw for 58 yards against the Saints? 2017 Bradford vs the Saints week 1: 27/32, 346 yards, 3 TDs If we can keep him healthy he is a special player. I think Rosen is very similar in style of play, size, etc. Bradford-Rosen would make me very happy.

This guy is going to be a beast for us. This takes me back to all of the posts questioning the move for Jordan Poyer. Some people wanted to re-sign Corey Graham so Poyer could be the #3 safety and special teams player.

I'm going to keep plugging my sleeper, Brock Coyle! I like Christian Jones as well. Otherwise I think you wait it out.

Butler would really be unbelievable. Dude is a special player. Maybe he would want to stick it to the Pats?

This makes sense for them It's a good fit and I think it is in their coach-GM's best interest to get more of a veteran than drafting a guy early. They are on the hotseat with just 2 year extensions to prove themselves.

I thinking Allen Hurns if released. Donte Moncrief might be a good possibility as well. If McBeane is really playing the comp pick game, I think they wait for a reciever. I think we sign a UFA center/guard or linebacker next. My speculation: Ryan Jensen or Josh Kline, Brock Coyle or Christian Jones.

I want Rosen and I sticking with that. I don't like Mayfield or Darnold all that much. If you really look at things without emotion, Allen makes sense for the Bills. He has all the size and things. Big hands and big arm. Great teammate and leader and clean off the field. An outdoor, cold weather guy. I see why scouts love him. The thing is, he really is going to need two years to sit. If the team is really willing to do that, and not throw him to the wolves early, then I'd be okay with it. If he starts games this season, he will likely bust imo. GMs say they are going to let guys develop and always go back on that word. I remember when Cincy drafted Carson Palmer, and no matter what they sat him for Jon Kitna. They stuck to their word and it was huge for Carson. This is my take: Rosen can start right away, but it makes sense to have him sit 4-8 games like Eli did. Mayfield can probably start right away if you completely revamp your offense to do the things he was doing in college. This is what O'Brien did for Watson last year. This will only work for a limited time. Darnold needs a year. I am trying to find reasons to love the guy, but I just don't see it. I have to continue to study him, because the one thing I do know is that it is likely that all the scouts and GMs and such know more than me. And they love him. Allen needs, probably two full years, but probably has the highest ceiling.

The Giants are in a tough spot. Not much cap space. Only a few draft picks. Basically 1 starter on the o-line, and changing form a 4-3 to a 3-4. Trade down makes sense.

I'm keeping an eye on Jacksonville. With the Norwell signing I think they may have to move someone off the cap. Keep an eye on Allen Hurns if he is released. That would be my guy. Size and speed.

They should develop Lynch and draft Quentin Nelson and give Keenum a shot. Instead I think they are going to draft Josh Allen

Besides Tyrod missing open guys, this is why we lost the Jacksonville game. No pressure up the middle allowed Bortles to step up in the pocket. Once he got out our 4.9 MIKE was too slow to catch him.

I think this makes a lot of sense. If you are Cleveland why wouldn't you talk to those other guys about who they are going to pick so you know that you can draft Barkley at 1 and take your qb at 4. If you are Bills and trading up with the Giants, why wouldn't you talk about the picks, to try and assure that you are going to get the guy you want at #2? I really think these guys can get teh top of the draft to go exactly they way they want it to go.
