Nice! Hope that psych’s him up for the rest of the season

For those of you who do more analyses / are better observers: how was the D Line rotation yesterday? Rousseau looked good - as always - A grade? AJ Epenesa - only noticed him a couple times - like I usually do - grade B- I noticed Von a couple times. He got some good pushes, some whiffs, and that bad Offside call. A C- grade? Some slack for first game after 4 game rest… I saw Toohill and Ankou got time, but overall how did they do? Jones? Smoot? Oliver? TIA

That was the DC (Ryan) taking it to the OC - Kevin Gilbride , for the “Run and Shoot” offense that was not giving the D anytime to rest. If I recall Buddy called it the “chuck and duck”….LOL

I was thinking the same thing. Came up holding a shoulder, and i didn't see him in after that.

I put on my Josh Allen jersey at halftime! forgot it the first half, causing them to stink it up. 🤣

That was on me! in the excitement of the early London game I got out of my Bills game prep and forgot to put my Allen jersey on 😲! fixed that at halftime. Bills are rolling!

Re: Von Miller, last year he was my most hated player. Tried playing but he was not right. Got beat on so many plays going right at where he should have been. This year he looked serviceable in the rotation. But not better than Groot or AJ overall. my new most hated player by the way is Hamlin. Like the man, hate his play..

With Ken Dorsey in Cleveland, does that mean Cooper is coming from a similar offensive system?

If Baker Mayfield can get ready to run an offense in a couple days, Amari Cooper can get ready to run routes in a couple days. Come On ! Sean, you’re really starting to chap my @$$.

I like the idea! If the Bengals are not “all in” to win the SB this year - and at this point that looks far fetched - then yes! Bills should have a chance, and should try to trade for him. changes our O significantly. Puts the WR core into proper positions 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. with Higgins #1

I wondered if on the all 22, can you see who was the target? Was he open? the broadcast never showed what the receivers were doing and if he had gotten the pass off, how did it look downfield? thanks for any reviews.

You know who WR#4 on the Bills depth chart is….

There were 2 plays that are still in my head. Josh took a couple of shots: one to MVS, where he was past the single defender but the throw was off and underthrown. If on target it was a sure TD. the other was to Coleman who was one on one but “covered” it was a jump ball / contested catch that Keon did not make. This was what we were hoping that we would see continue from training camp - that he would out wrestle/ block out defenders and make catches. was sorry to see that both of those didn’t work out. maybe in the all 22, some more analysis of the passing game could reveal some more “almost” plays that could have turned the deep passing into more

Pleasantly surprised to see Von Miller’s performance and as mentioned here game ball worthy. I saw some spin moves and quickness. I had been very down on him, but tonight he convinced me he is really back to form.

Home made wings & pizza. Carrot sticks & Marie’s Blue Cheese for dip! French Onion sour cream dip and chips for pregame snack. Sam Adam’s original for washing it down (I know it is from Boston, but love the IPA taste)

Thanks for the write up once again. I always enjoy hearing what other intelligent fans saw/felt about the game! Von Miller: I was not impressed again. For the $$ invested his performance is now elevated to JAG. I was hoping to see less of him as the game went on. too many times he was pushed upfield beyond the QB or RB and the Cards just ran right where he was supposed to be. Kincaid: I agree too quiet of a day from him. the Oline: too many penalties! but I thought performance wise they looked good - albeit against a bad defense. Defense: Groot is the new star on D. Overall mediocre. Second half they prevented scoring but felt typical bend don’t break because our players are mostly mediocre… this may be good enough if the offense ramps up.

We were wondering how this change would work out….Seemed to have no snap issues. I didn’t notice any blown assignments. Anyone pay attention to his blocking enough for an opinion?

I would not give a game ball to Von Miller. He was still mostly running beyond the QB, not setting an edge and several good running plays went right by him. Dropped back in coverage- on no one. Did not pursue plays running away from him, etc. Yes he had one bull rush , that in combo with pressure from the other side had Murray getting tripped up. So showed some promise, but a game ball? NO!
