  1. Xavier Hutchinson deserves 3rd round consideration.
  2. Agreed, but it doesn't seem like a McBean thing to do. It would be a bit surprising if they don't sign a vet with at least starting experience at Mike.
  3. I was going to post the same thing... But he did sack Watson in the playoffs, and then was the other half of the Milano missed sack sandwich later in the same game.
  4. Campbell not Crawford? Have you taken a look at Pappoe? I don't think he's the kind of prospect that McD would be comfortable with penciling in as starter. But I'm on the fence about whether he can be a starter at mic.
  5. I'm talking 7th round. And only if we trade back and end up having more than 6 picks. Be a lot cheaper than signing a vet FA.
  6. I saw that in PFF's rating. And the name kind of rang a bell. But am not sure if he's as good as that rating. Looks to be a Nigerian Londoner, came to the US at 13 and played hs football. Has only last season as a starter. Seems interesting, I wonder if the Raiders are trying to bring him back?
  7. This is a really deep RB class. There's a half dozen or more guys that will be available in the late rounds that could instantly contribute. I like Motor, obviously. But the price needs to be right... Here's one big guy to check out:
  8. The Bengals line got so much better when he was out of the lineup. He looked like a cream puff.
  9. Is the RT Jerome Elumenore better than Quessenberry or Spencer Brown?
  10. I think they might just be saying this right now so everyone knows Saffold's out. Our running game works best in pin and pull concepts when we get our athletic lineman on the move out in space. That's where McGovern is much better in his run blocking. We had a RG who was actually pretty good in the straight ahead power run game. Cody Ford. I'll take a top 15 pass protector who's good on the move over a power blocker who gets blown past in pass pro.
  11. He's the day 1 starter at RG. His pass protection is rated better than some of the top guards in the league, like Quinton Nelson. His run blocking on the Cowboys power game is bad. But his run blocking in space and on the move is much better. Which is why they used him as a FB. He'll be better run blocking in the Bills system, and he may be the best pass blocker on the team. I'm all for drafting an OT and OG/C early. Don't get me wrong.
  12. Jeudy & 68 for 27. Then trade up to 36 for 59 & 68 and take Dawand Jones.
  13. So, Connor McGovern eh?
  14. He's stout in pass pro, much better against power rushers than anyone we've had on the inside. https://youtu.be/rucXFyIRbBg
  15. I'd put Trubisky ahead of him, but Wentz has a much better career winning percentage than Brissett or Minshew. And he has a much better track record of winning the Super Bowl watching from the side lines.
  16. Which would be a big improvement over Saffold if he's league average.
  17. For what it's worth, PFF's draft simulator is accepting trade offers for Oliver in the mid-70's.
  18. I'm not opposed to Kincaid at 27, if he's still there. As long as the idea is he's an inside / outside receiving threat that could be a 1,000 yard reciever. Totally agree with playing more 12, especially with two TE's that cause problems in the passing game.
  19. Palmer definitely needs work on his route tree. But his deep throat from outside wo is undeniable. And his size is adequate. Flowers only caught 57% of his passes in college and he's small. He literally had 130 incomplete catches out of 300. Do you see him staying on the outside? If not, I think Downs has much better hands as a Beasley type security blanket in the slot who can also get vertical... Still not sure the value at wo is there at 27.
  20. Well we run four verts on nearly every play, and that seems to be Palmer's strength
  21. It's always a crap shoot. But he's faster and has 20 pounds on late 1st/ 2nd round guys like Flowers and Hyatt. He also had better college production than Diggs had.
  22. A few guys popped up on the radar for me: Fastest wr was Trey Palmer at 6' 192lbs running 4.33, he has better size than and speed than Flowers, Hyatt, Downs ect. That's Jon Brown speed in Stefon Diggs frame... watching his highlights he's a big time vertical threat... And could Deneric Prince be this year's Isaiah Pacheco? 6' 216lbs running 4.4 is a load to try to take down. I'm all for picking up and extra pick or two, and spending our very last one on a RB.
