I'm stuck waiting for my luggage at the baggage carousel. Sounds like more fun than the opening of this broadcast.

Peter King/FMIA/PFT 1st Round Mock Draft
Motorin' replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Downs does have elite hands. He catches everything. Caught 94 passes on 116 targets last year. In our offense that's near the top of the league in drops, there's something to be said for that. I do prefer an inside/ outside threat though if we're looking for a new #2 receiver. -
Yes, but it's not nearly as seamless as cable. The rewind function goes in 15 second chunks instead of frame by frame. That's what I miss most about Xfinity.

Crime vs racism
Motorin' replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Tell that to the 1.7 million victims of white on white crime each year. Why is it that the people who are obsessed with black on black crime seem to blame black people as a whole for all black crime? Yet never mention white on white crime, and most certainly never suggest that white people as a whole are responsible for the actions of individual white people? The context of this thread is that black people are actually the problem, and white people are double victims. First they are the victims of black violence, and then they are the victims of the media lying about white violence towards black people. -
Crime vs racism
Motorin' replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
White people are 3.5 times more likely to be violently victimized by a white person than by a black person. 1,700,000 white on white violent crimes per year vs 480,000 violent crimes by black people against white people. White on white violent crime is the majority of all violent crime, and hands down the most of any race based crime. Where's the outrage about white on white crime? -
JSN actually has the best short area quickness of any reciever in the draft. Better 20 yard shuttle that Tyreek Hill even. He isn't consider elite bc he doesn't have top end speed, but I actually think he might be the best fit for this Bills offense. We're lacking the sure handed possession receiver that can move the sticks on any given play. Aka the security blanket.

Bills sign offensive linemen Kevin Jarvis
Motorin' replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
According to nfldraftbuzz he's 504 inches tall... Which makes him a mountain of a man at just over 42 feet tall. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Kevin-Jarvis-OG-MichiganState -
Just 13 for sure, have a good guess on a couple more.

Governor Abbott seeking to pardon Daniel Perry
Motorin' replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
More damaging if true, the prosecutor's case was based on Perry initiating the conflict by running a red light into an intersection occupied by the protesters. You can not initiate a conflict and then claim stand your ground as self defense. If the Tucker Carlson version was true, just an average working Joe out earning extra cash driving Uber, he probably would never have been found guilty in the first place. Guy posts “I might go to Dallas to shoot looters,” and then drives his car at them leading to the confrontation. If that portion of the prosecutions case is true, it's hard to imagine there's grounds for a pardon. -
I snagged Darius Rush when I traded up with @CNYfan. That pick also concludes Denver's draft. The Broncos started with just two 3rd round picks. After trading Jerry Juedy they were able to draft: Will McDonald IV, Edge Rashee Rice, WR Zach Charbonnet, RB Darius Rush, CB

The Broncos aquire pick 79 from the Colts in exchange for picks 86 + 139. With the 79th pick of Virgil's Draft, the Denver Broncos select DARIUS RUSH, CB, South Carolina. @GunnerBill is on the clock. -- Needing to improve their cb play opposite of Surtain II, and sensing and impending run on CB's, the Broncos trade up to snag a big, long and fast cb.
-
@Virgil just dm'd you the details.
-
I was going back and forth between him and McDonald. But think McD is a better fit as a standup OLB rushing from the edge in Denver's system. Anudike-Uzomah is perfect in the 4-3 DE role.
-
Well, I apologize for calling him 80 years old in my mock draft.
-
It's updated in the first post on pg 1. 60 and 61 are noted there.

With the 70th pick, the Denver Broncos select Zach Charbonnet, RB UCLA. @frostbitmic is on the clock: 71 - Saints (235) With Javonte Williams' season ending injury last year, 80 year old Latavious Murray was the Broncos leading rusher. The Broncos plan to make Russ's life easier and will run the ball behind McGlinchy, Powers and co... Charbonnet provides power, speed and a good receiving option out of the backfield.
-
With the 68th pick, the Broncos select Rashee Rice, WR SMU. @NewEra is on the clock: 69 - Rams (245) For the Broncos, Rice can play in the slot and outside. Hopefully giving Danger Russ a new weapon capable of matching Jerry Jeudy's early career production.

TSW 1.0 Draft Poll - Who should the Bills select at #59
Motorin' replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, but that was Zerovolt trolling at 31. -

The Denver Broncos are on the clock. With the 38th pick of Virgil's NFL Draft, the Broncos select Will McDonald IV, Edge, Iowa St. After shoring up the offensive line in free agency with the signing of RT Mike McGlinchy and OG Ben Powers, the Broncos have decided to trade away Jerry Jeudy to move up in the draft and solidify the only missing piece of the their defense. The Broncos think this dynamic pass rusher will take their D to the next level by providing a lethal threat off the edge. @Kirby Jackson and the Carolina Panthers are on the clock.
-
I honestly think they took Bernard in the third hoping to have a WIL backup that could step in and keep the defense from sinking in the event that Milano misses significant time to injury. I never thought the plan for him was to replace Edmunds at MIKE.
-
The Raiders are now on the clock at 28. They also receive picks 108 & 195. The Broncos receive 38, 70 & 220.
