Cincinnati started like they were dead last year too... Teams that seem to celebrate every victory in Sept like they won the Super Bowl always seem to run out of gas and fail to win it all. It's a long season, gotta peak at the right time.

Kirksey performed last year. 125 tackles, over 80 solo. The most combined tackles Klein has ever had was 75. Kirksey is a clear upgrade to any LB on the roster not named after an Italian cookie, even if he's more of a WIL than true Mike.

Gabe Davis is a 2023 Captain...let the board erupt!

He was also a top 10 overall wr in catch % for first downs, catching 73% of his targets that would move the stick. He also averaged over 9 yards per target. Yes he has to clean up some of his drops, but I'm not sure if those 7 drops had nearly as significant a negative impact as his 35 receptions for first downs. I'd be perfectly happy if some combination of Davis, Knox, Cook and Kincaid amount to 3 or 4 #3 type targets around 65-75 each. But if Gabe improves 3-4% from his first two seasons in catch percentage, I won't fault the Bills for giving the clear #2 number targets, around 100... I'm happy with 58 reactions on 100 targets, over 850 yards, over 30 1st downs, over 7 TD's and less than 7 drops. -
I can't say that I watched him play much. But looking at the stats, Kirksey had more tackles, more tackles for loss, more sacks, more INT's, more passes defended and more QB hits last year that Tremaine Edmonds. Statistically speaking, Kirksey was better last year than all but one year of Edmonds career. Getting average play at the position will most likely be a huge improvement over what Dodson or Bernard will provide.

Maybe he should be wearing a seat belt while texting and driving? Idk

No, from the moment they drafted him they said he was going to start out at OLB, and then clarified that is bc learning the MIC position is a lot in year 1. They never said he won't get a shot at MIC and that he is only an OLB. -
We need Bernard to at least be average

Give the green dot to Poyer or Hyde and play Milano and Williams as interchangeable parts. -

Faks is a Bills fan, that's awesome! And totally explains why he sounds the most like he's from Chicago as anyone on dat show! Cause da Chicago accent is an old school Buffalo accent. -

If we lose this, the season is over! -
So Brandon Beane is a liar when he said his first round draft pick is a big slot receiver. Got it.

So either the family is lying or he is mistaken about being swindled out of his film rights. But the father is quoted today in People magazine claiming that his family never made a dime off the movie: https://people.com/blind-side-sean-tuohy-speaks-out-about-michael-oher-legal-petition-7643431 Oher alleges that each of the four Tuohy family members — Sean, Leigh Anne and their two children — made $250,000 outright from the movie, according to the petition, in addition to 2.5% in residuals. Sean Tuohy disputed that. “We were never offered money; we never asked for money... The last thing I needed was 40 grand from a movie,” Tuohy added. --- So they wrote in a book that Oher got paid along with them for the movie. But now are saying they didn't get paid at all... Which is it?

I totally agree with Gunner, and it's bc I think Kincaid is going to be used more as a big slot wr than a true #2 inline TE. I don't see Harty or Shakir being high volume targets at this point. Maybe they're 30 catch guys at best? If Kincaid can handle 70-80 targets, which I think he can, he's in the running to become the #2 receiver on the team. At least by next year. I see 50-60 targets this year. Maybe on par with Knox. Without asking Kincaid to stay in to pass block.

He's claiming they told him they were adopting him and instead the papers they had him sign gave ownership of his life rights to the family, which they then sold for the making of the film. Fraud and misrepresentation void contracts. The family either defrauded him or they didn't. And he's either owed back payment or he's not. It's a legal question.

Exactly, and in some of the most impossible throws that almost no other qb's in the history of the game can make.

And a little bigger?

Fair enough... Allen did have a QB rating of 130 when targeting Knox last year, and 140 when targeting Cook. We'll see what happens to that rating when the targets go up for one, or both of them this year.

Short of Knox (or Kincaid) rising to #2 level of production, I think there are ways to get the #1 cb off of Davis. By utilizing the TE and RB in the passing game effectively over the middle they could really punish teams for doubling Diggs with a S, and force them to go back to paying their #1 on Diggs. I also think Knox could up his production from 65 to 80 targets, which I think he would have had last year if the pass protection didn't suck so bad that they needed him to stay in and pass block.
