  1. I tend to agree. I mean Cowboys are always over hyped and talent is often overrated. That's like an NFL rule. Let's face it, great win versus Philly but the series is usually a split. They've been avg .500 on the road. They have given up a healthy amount of sacks, they can't really run well, and they are avg stopping the run. Not great recipe to win in December in colder climes. They've never played great in December w cold. They've faced some godawful QBs, lost to the good ones, and the tougher games are on the horizon. Dak is playing great, but historically he can make mistakes. He's not the strongest armed guy either so not necessarily a great cold weather/ conditions kind of QB. This is not the kind of team that gives us fits. Usually that is your Bengals, 49rr or Colts of the world, teams that can smash you on offense and play physical. This is more of a finesse team. Lots of rhythm stuff.
  2. I am interested in how the virus cutting through the cowboys and all the DNPs on their part will effect the game. Can't be good for D.
  3. My take is we don't have to win out. If we lose to Cowboys, we absolutely need to win out from there. I prefer to win out. I like the team's mojo right now. Your right we made mistakes, but the season will tell us who deserves what. Miami got murdered by us and blew a 2 score win w 2:30 left. They've got a knife fight each week ahead of them, and that includes the Jets.
  4. Everyone has them. As of week 14, Bills are pretty much normal for injuries. Dallas lost Diggs. We may get Daquan back. Von may be himself by years end. Knox back. Just grateful for #17 . We've been lucky when you figure his style.
  5. I just want to add that don't underestimate the vaunted Cowboys OL ( always a bit overrated imo) ability to have terrible games against good pass rushers. They've given up 4+ sack games 3 times and 5 twice. With the noise, I expect this to be a big factor.
  6. I like Dak and I like the Cowboys. They are a strange team historically though, and apt to either blow out bad teams or blow games in billsy style with turnovers and mistakes. Very similar to us in many ways. We've been competitive against recent incarnations of this team and Dak. Beating them in Dallas 4 years ago. Dallas is not a great road team, and this will be a tough road game. To be frank, it would be "unlike the Cowboys" to come up here, one of the toughest road environments, in December against a very good team and win. Both teams are coming off big wins, but the Bills are far more desperate, playing for playoffs lives, rather than optimal seeding. The weather will be cold, but not too cold. No ice bowl on Sunday, but enough coupled w Billsmafia to be a factor. Keep in mind it's tough to come in here in September and win....Bills are a very good home team. So I favor the Bills w most of the intangibles. I like our ability to get the ball to our TEs quick and work Cook to mitigate some of the man to man strengths. Our D is angular and fast....we match good against them, which will slow them down enough and I'm thinking Dak and crew may make some mistakes. I think it will s a pretty even matchup, where the intangibles and homefield will give us the W.
  7. Yes, absolutely. They looked mistake prone and sloppy last night. It was only even closer because the Titans made a bunch of dumb turnovers too. Hill health in doubt. While I think he'll be back, he may not be effective next week. That oline is terrible. Now C is out. They'll be challenged by the Jets, Bills, and Cowboys. Tua has never made it this many games in a season. His high was 13 games. The schedule is brutal. Resurgent Jets, cowboys, Ravens, Bills...rough. Some brutal DLs in there. We win our they only need to lose 1 more to catch them. We can catch the Phins even if we drop Cowboys game, then win our & beat them but they lose 2 ( let's say Ravens and Cowboys) very possible. The way that team looked last night....man I can't see them beating Boys or Ravens and fully expect them to lose at least a couple down the stretch.
  8. The Miami epic December collapse scenario is fully in play. Losing out or 1-3 very plausible. That line is woof.
  9. I don't think Von played well overall. Some solid plays down the stretch , but was a huge liability in swaths of this game. I thought he still was pretty poor.
  10. He's in a rut. The play he lowered his shoulder and got the first down was a tough, gritty play. You know Diggs will be jacked up for this one to rub in to bro.
  11. That's a good catch w Indy. I did look at the schedules and it's also compounded by teams playing each other. Another fact : we are huge Titans fans...go Titans ...
  12. A few observations: We are all big Jets fans going forward in 2023 J...E...T...Jets! The majority of the 7-6 playoff teams are garbage or going to garbage. IMO the cream to worry about: Buffalo Denver Bengals Browns Apart from Buffalo, none of the teams are consistent and/ or world beaters. Any team like the Jets, Raiders, or Bears can beat these teams. Texans- CJ hurt and other injuries mount. I don't expect them to do much more Indy - dome team in December w backup QB I expect them to fold. Of the Bills, I think we will safely defeat Chargers ( w back up QB) and Pats. I think we have to win of the hard games v Phins and Boys. Really, given the mediocrity of the playoff rivals I see the Bills pulling this off.
  13. Von had a few effective rushes at the end. Bad game overall.
  14. Good point. Maybe we both should just chill.

  16. Defense came through. Bills played great on offense except for: The pick. A few lulls in play calling in the 2nd half. That last drive the lack of runs and taking the sack. Overall though this wasn't some Bum team, it was the World Champs in Arrowhead. Great win ....gritty and tough.

  18. What a treat to see Jets beat HOU. Most everything lining up this week...now for us to take care of business.
