  1. Yeah well the clear analysis is struggles with double teams and not great against the run
  2. I figured we'd take another depth three later on in this draft as a kind of what the hell kind of pic, especially considering that guy from Pittsburgh doesn't get back until week 6. I was not expecting them to take a 3 in the second round. Let alone trade up and give some serious capital for it. I don't like the draft this year guys. I think it's already kind of a head. Scratcher it feels like a drought era draft, just a lot of really questionable moves. We'll see how it plays out though.
  3. We also signed the 3 from pitt. Plus hoecht will move around and play some 3. By my count, we just drafted a fourth string player.
  4. I'm talking about why people are wired the way they are - the drought years. Years and years of people like you defending pics and they would always be wrong. Yet here you guys are always. I'm not pessimistic. I will praise that the bills draft very quickly when it hits. So far I don't like these pics. This guy is in an undersized three technique. He will be third on our depth chart. That's not the kind of guy you drafted in the second round. Literally this team was run all over and it's one of our biggest weaknesses. I'm sorry after week 6 he would be fourth on the depth chart. Not to mention Hoecht will move around.
  5. This makes me hate to pick even more work ethic issues? Underachiever? Sounds like he will be buddies w Ed O. Our DL Coaches can't get enough out of our guys now.
  6. So do you draft third string three techniques then?
  7. Yeah looking at the trade details now we gave up way too much for this too. So much for that other second round pick. WTF?
  8. Well apart from Josh Allen, we have a huge track record of blowing pics. This is usually the mantra of the drought years time and time again we would bemoan picks and were almost often right.
  9. Yeah we need a one technique dude. We have three three techniques on the roster right now.
  10. There was zero need to trade up for this guy.
  11. The way I see it is I said my piece about wanting another guy but now that this guy is a bill it's time to flip a switch and support the him. Hopefully he's a great Bill, legendary corner and I am totally wrong. It's also the name of the game for Bill's drafts. The whole draft will tell the big picture and this could be still a great draft. At a minimum we got a cornerback and we needed a cornerback. I don't want to overblow his faults and nickel and dime him to death. I've been wrong so many times before! And in beane we trust....
  12. I preferred Shavon Ravel. I like his story rather than these portal mad SEC guys. Plus bigger and more balanced. Give me a guy who worked at an Amazon warehouse, not some NAL dude w nothing to lose.
  13. I'm more worried about the Ravens and yes- the Chiefs. The chiefs ran all over us.
  14. The bills draft a guy smaller and worse at tackling than Elam was. I don't like to pick as I said I'm just very dubious of some SEC players in this day and age a lot of coddling and I'm going to question how hard they're going to work especially pouring to cold weather. I saw a few Kentucky games and hairston never really stood out to me. A lot of the analysis by the bills guys like Joe Marino, Chopin bulldog. I just didn't think hairston was a scheme fit for us. A weak tackler. A weak tackler somewhat undersized more accustomed to man. I think I recalled Joe Marino saying just recently that Amos was much better fit than hairston. And so I don't like to pick. I probably would have The South Carolina safety. He's an undeniable athlete, a predator in the backfield. I don't think there's anyone of that talent that was available. Safety is a sneaky need and our defense has not been good since we had elite safeties. I get the good DT s were off the board again. Why didn't we move up to get one? Even staying put , we could have wound up with the best safety in this draft. Instead we get probably the 4th or fifth Best corner. It feels like the elam picked to me and I know know we can't be traumatized by that, but that's how I feel. .
  15. Guys, I hate the pic coddled SEC player small weak against the run. Just dislike all around, especially considering who was on the board still.
  16. Colts draft the tight end. I like the player but man they have bigger needs.
  17. Graham looks a little soft Graham looks a little soft
  18. What a bad move. The jaguars would have needed that pic next year to draft a quarterback. Lawrence not the guy and there's a lot of holes on that team. They aren't close and they can't give up Capital like that. Just a terrible move Oh by the way for a gadget guy who yes is talented but literally no one has ever done what this guy is seeking to do. I'm going to bet the under and say that he's going to be either a wide receiver or a cb eventually
  19. Dumb move by the jags Lawrence is not the guy and they are not one gadget player away. Terrible. Terrible move
  20. Nervous about SEC players, especially the bigger schools. Very coddled, big $$ already in banks, and mostly from warm weather. Already used to portal and moving around at whim. These guys are dreaming of Miami and LA and Buffalo will be an ordeal to them. At least most Big ten guys have dealt w cold weather. I'm sure there are exceptions here, but I have trouble accepting it.
  21. I take a shot at cam scattabo in round 4 We need a depth running back for special teams anyway. I could easily see us keeping an extra running back this year, especially given the uncertainty of Cook and hold out.
  22. Listening to Ray Davis on on Bill's live today. What a breath of fresh air that guy is. Seems like another Fred Jackson. Just a heart and soul kind of guy. It really made me think it would be great if he can get a chance to be a number one back. I never thought I'd come around but I am not totally against trading. Cook just seems like a lot of trouble. I don't know what we would get for him. Maybe a fourth rounder. I honestly think you can replace the touchdown production. I think those were a byproduct of just the offense and working in the red zone. Another back can get some and then Ray Davis and ty Johnson can pick up the slack. In terms of the rushing and receiving yards. I think again the other two could pick up the slack with another back coming in. The big area cook produces is in yards per carry. So you look for a fast running back. Or you just get confident and go for a big muscle back is going to help you and go align. There are options in this draft for either position and behind our oline I think Chris Brown could run for 500 yds. Let's also add that in a couple years we are going to need to pay some of these Ol a bit more money and having a big o-line is a lot more important than running backs. Osiris Torrance is going to be a top guard in the NFL.
