  1. Was a discussion on 1 b live about caution to outlier high TD production years. Raheem Mostert was an example of this got released 1 year after career TD year.
  2. I'm just not sold on the notion he is a shadow. Over priced, getting old and not quite as good...high cap hit....sure. But the sample size of him sucking is very small.
  3. Beasley was awesome in his final full season w bills. I agree he died off quick though. Kupp had like 67 grabs last year and had a huge drop in his last 3-4 games. Basically he was on pace for an 80 catch season. He had health issues towards the end. It's a very small sample size to say he's cooked. Kupp had that one insane year, but he's really a guy who gets 70-80 grabs a year.
  4. In those 3 years for 14 sacks he played 941 snaps. In his double digit sacks years he had about 840 snaps in those seasons. Basically if he's on the field, he is still consistent.
  5. My first thought is this is a better version of Philips. He can play both spots and will be critical depth and rotational player.
  6. I like the notion of Tre coming back. Then draft a dude early. I also like concept of Rasul back on a cheap deal or Dane. Any of these options we are drafting a guy.
  7. Not necessarily. He looks to be the starter, but still got Hoecht and Solomon.
  8. Merriman fell off a cliff w production. Word was PED suspension killed him . Bosa has been relatively consistent w his production, factoring injury. In his last 18 starts , he had 14 sacks. Yes, this took 3 seasons but when he's on field he provides a pass rush.
  9. I love the signing. I believe Bosa will thrive here. He will be playing w a big lead a lot more than w Chargers. Risk reward is perfect for the money. Any pass rusher capable of double digit sacks is going to command 10 plus million.
  10. ....but that's not our way, especially on D . They hate starting rookies on D. Folks need to chill out. It's the wild time right now. They are going to sign a few more players up into the last minute of the summer. They will be solid role players like the Floyd or Hollins signing. I'll bet we get vet DT help and a CB soon enough, likely some safety depth.
  11. They did this a few years ago ...just threw out huge contracts day 1 . They regretted a huge chunk of them.
  12. I like it. Just a bit mad about Hollins at the same time.
  13. This year is crazy. Teams just throwing money around.
  14. This was Joe Marino big pickup too
  15. I mean we knew it was coming and it still feels great. Our QB. So glad we have him.
  16. I think 30 million per season is appropriate for those 3-4 WRs who stretch the field and get 100 plus catches per year. Glad Bills stayed away.
  17. Terrible contract. Weak o line . 30 million WR for a 60 catch guy. Man, bad move and signing. That WR room going to have zero leadership.
  18. I think Cincy would trade him to us, but we would have to overpay. I'm guessing if the price is a 2nd then multiple teams will be in on him. These leads me to believe buff may need to give up a 1st.
  19. Throughout all this free agency talk, I've been whispering under my breath once you get past Hendrickson, Garret, and Crosby....might as well be Von still. I like Von six sacks with four games missed not too shabby. Plus he looked pretty good and had a nice pop towards the end of this season. I know he didn't make the big play to close out the AFC championship game like we hoped, but I thought he had a decent game. Keeping Von and working the draft, plus development of Solomon....not a terrible path forward. Go get a good FA at DT or CB though
