Fact checked the commentators saying he had 3 300 yard games his last 3 starts. He did! Still had a horrible passer rating totalling 1000 yards, 7 TDs and 10 picks. So that's 1200/9/10 in last 4 games started out of 8. That's a backup I'll be happy having with this group, and he's trending upwards every start to boot. I don't see a problem riding the hot hand, but also want to know JA's ability ASAP.. So I don't care who starts either way. JA at home against the cupcake Jets, and Barks against a monster pass rush would be nice to see for comparison

Absolutely. We can't rest on our laurels and hope the receiver Corps is going to be great. Draft recievers with the best natural talent, and don't just bank on Foster and Zay being Mike Evans and Desean Jax. Cause they're so far away and never going to be that caliber. just draft the next Mike Evans.

We need to pick the Steelers brains on WRs. They nail receiver picks in any round. Their GM went on record saying that's the one position you can really get top quality at any round. What you see in college is what you get in the NFL. Not many other positions have that transparency.

I'm mixed up. I really want to see Barkley as much as possible, and figure out what to make of Allen as fast as possible. We need to know if Allen is really the guy. JMO but I'd just go with the hot hand in Barkley with Barkley and Allen having a mutual understanding that they may be getting shuffled the depth chart going forward around to get a sense of next year's Quarterback situation. Nothing negative about getting benched but ride a hot hand until it's over and see if the other dude rides a hot streak.

As far as I'm concerned we keep playing the best Quarterback, hot hand or whatever, if Allen never surpasses Barkley then it is what it is. Allen doesn't put up this stat line against the Jets from what I've seen. Cause if I were a player I'd be pretty damned inspired

Honestly it's satisfying but we've literally had one game not over by the first half.. like a tight win like the Titans, except high scoring with a 4TD Barkley game, would be fun sometimes

It shouldn't have been picked at all, Quarterbacks make that throw all the time. It's just a gamble on the matchup. We're just used to having useless receivers not play aggressive or adjust to the ball but those are great throws to make when you have someone like Mike Evans. And yes Jets DBs suck, Foster didn't exactly high point it and they didn't adjust at all. Would typically be a catch for Mike Evans against almost any DB and a PBU for the lesser receivers, and a pick for like.. Foster 4 weeks ago if the DBs didn't suck.
