If the plan was not playing JA too early behind a competent vet backup and we've seen 1 game of Barkley being just that.. why not get back to that plan and see what Barkley has seeing as we are not playing for anything. But I personally want to start Allen as much as possible when healthy just to know. And with all our cap we talk about, why not keep Barkley for another year as opposed to going back to the next offseason with Peterman and JA (I'd be livid). I'm alright if they find another vet in FA they want but we need someone like that and Barkley's finally meeting the bill.. for 1 half thus far lol.

Yeah I'm making a criticism argument on Beane. Don't really care how he feels about things. I'm excited to see Allen play a 3rd of the level Cam can (with better help next year) because that's a good enough QB to win with this defense

But he's not Peterman dumb. Super weak arm like on that 3rd completion to Zay that was so slow he had no chance for YAC. Dude is accurate though. Obviously premature lol but he's already locked a win today with ease. All this defense needs at least 1 or 2 full length drives for a TD rather than banking on D giving them ridiculous field position.

Too early to vote Barkley the starter for next year? Could be a premature EJ / Tyrod situation minus part where that spelled the end for EJ and keeps Allen as our guy unless Barkley somehow just blows up (very unlikely), but he's better than current Allen version. Start the best Quarterback back FO. Put on your blinders on other factors. Barkley with an entire off-season beefing up this offense

Game was over when we got a touchdown. Our defense was going to smash this team. I was going into the game banking on a 30% chance we get ONE TD, the earlier the better so the D doesn't think they're playing the same song and dance.

Have we discussed how bad Benjamin as? Especially at really the one thing we could have expected of him in being a friggin red zone Target.

NBA was trending like that in the 90s. It got crazy low scoring in the early 2000s. Yeah it's offensively oriented but the greatest defenses of all time are recognized relative to their position. One would think the 2004 Pistons averaging 70 PPG allowed is the best ever but most say 2007(?) Celtics championship team is the best ever relative to the higher scoring around the league. Another team pretty high up there? The recent Warriors team.
