  1. OMG Hauschka is literally the reason we had this drought. Dude needs to go NOW.
  2. Wouldn't he be like.. still working at this football thing for PS rather than getting drunk before a Bills game? Is this a realistic scenario for him? It'd be a nice gesture from our side but I don't see how he would want it, dude's still trying to play football as of right now.
  3. There's no hatred from me. From a pure football standpoint I'm happy we moved on. That's the emotion conveyed. Like we've done hundreds of times with Maybin, EJ, Flowers, Mike Williams, Torrell Troupe. Like it's hypocrisy at this point to judge somebody for appreciating a sound football move and ignore that this has happened thousands of times for the Bills. Why does Peterman deserve to Garner more sympathy than EJ? Don't get it. ^ this literally happens every time we cut a bust.
  4. Where was the boohooing for Aaron Maybin? Honestly it's just how the NFL works. You sign up for the money and the visibility. It's show biz and people get fired every day. I wish him the best for the next chapter, he could stay in football for all we know. But it's crocodile tears if anybody's seriously feeling sorry when we were so gleeful with EJ, Tyrod, Maybin, Troupe.. we've cut thousands of people dude.
  5. Did we feel sorry when we booted EJ and Tyrod and they landed on their feet? Football players get released all the time. Did we feel sorry for TJ Graham? Mike Williams? Aaron Maybin? Just let these guys live their lives. NFL is entertainment and he wasn't entertaining us. It's show biz people get fired and hired all the time. That's what he signed up for.
  6. Don't we booted EJ and Tyrod and they landed on their feet. Football players get released all the time. Did you feel sorry for TJ Graham? Mike Williams? Aaron Maybin? Just let these guys live their lives. NFL is entertainment and he wasn't entertaining us. It's show biz people get fired and hired all the time. That's what he signed up for.
  7. I'm imagining Buffalo celebrating in the streets like they just won the SB like something outta South Park. Funny image but don't do it lol. Mean spirited. Those of us not in Buffalo will be on the streets celebrating.
  8. I'm throwing a party at Bills Backers bar in Dallas if anyone wants to join We're Poppin bottles over heah
  9. Oh I'd love it. Especially since his trade essentially netted KB and Jordan Matthews.. nothing. Or even a negative return if you consider opportunity cost thinking those guys would crush it. And don't get me started on scheme. He's a friggin CB they're tasked to do both and Josh Norman clearly played a ton of man in Carolina. Would love him back!
  10. Folks. Wikipedia don't lie. We released a legend.
  11. We simply need to improve the offense and pay very close attention that he's improving if we're willing to wait until 2020. If he shows no improvement in 2019 I wouldn't cut him and draft another, but I'd certainly get a Tyrod/EJ type contingency plan in that situation. We need to get him recievers that fit HIS bill. Ironically it's the same type of recievers Tyrod always needed: beats the zone in the perfect spot to mitigate inaccuracy, ability to get WIDE open consistently and beat your man, and of course just have good hands to catch fast balls, fast reaction time, and a wide catch radius. I wouldn't mind blocking receivers for Cam like spread options. A Mike Wallace burner is huge for stretching defenses and maximizing his arm strength (and that dude needs to be FAST), as much as I love Foster's catch, even his great contested grab was not high pointed because he didn't want to jump and catch with hands. I want a burner that truly high points the ball because that's so hard to defend if you're quarterback is throwing bombs and single coverage in that situation makes it a 50/50 60 yard gain if the player can high point the ball and just be better than his defender. That's what JA needs for me to know what he has. I want it sophomore year, ASAP, and I'll be frustrated if we don't give him the best recievers possible to maximize his talents. He's not Brady or Brees. He needs great recievers. No problem with that, so did Matt Ryan, and he was always given great recievers (the Falcons drafted Julio Jones top ten after Roddy White had a 1300 yard 10+ TD season, and then they drafted Calvin Ridley this year!
  12. tough for him and the Eagles. Felt like a very strong point of their defense, and I'm sure he unfortunately lost a lot of money going to FA (if I'm correct on that).
  13. Just let him finish his contract and go. He's still sadly a starting WR on this roster.
  14. There's not many, and Drew Brees was good with the Chargers: he was replaced with Rivers because of a brutal shoulder injury (side note: that Chargers team was stacked prior to the draft.. why did Eli not want to play with LT, Gates, Chris Chambers?? Always found his insistence on not playing in beautiful San Diego.. THAT WAS GOOD super puzzling. Must have been a family interference thing), Gannon didn't become "very fine" until he had Jerry friggin Rice. If JA has the weapons, we should know a lot about him next year. Bradshaw played in the stone age where they had like 18 rounds of draft, and he was never the driver behind the Steelers success that era. He was good certainly, but he sucked along with that early season until the famous defense started making them contenders. Troy was absolutely carried on a stacked team, would you take him ore Kelly? Of all the quarterbacks his era he was miles behind Young, Favre, Kelly, Elway, Marino. Although I'd give him top 10 any given year. He's really a questionable HOFer given his numbers but you can't fault him for having Emmit Smith getting so many carries and winning super bowls. I think he'd have a Drew Bledsoe like quarterback career on a bad team (which is good! love for JA to be on a Bledsoe level). Regardless this is the modern NFL where rookie records are being shattered right now, I haven't seen quarterbacks take 2 to 3 starting years sucking to turn into a franchise other than a mediocre Alex Smith.I'm not saying anything about JA's ability, but we should know a lot his sophomore year. I just don't like the term "project QB" as if they can't contribute to winning. Brett Favre didn't know jack about nickel or dime defenses, would be pegged as a project QB. Didn't matter, he was crushing it from his first start, and his project culminated to 3 MVPs. We showed project EJ the door with glee after like 2 seasons where they really wanted to start him. That's the way the NFL goes. I'll cede that every example either of us cite ultimately comes down to innate talent and having the right coach and personnel to allow you to maximize your abilities. And some quarterbacks get the short end of that stick. We've beaten various forms of this argument to death - (Can QBs be broken? How long do we give our QBs?) I think we both know where we stand lol we don't need to spam the board any further throwing out the same quarterbacks that fit our narrative.
  15. He should be. He has ruined my franchise keeper duo of ODB and Bell and squandered a dynasty. No **** he doesn't care that was a joke I say!
  16. WHAAAAT? It ain't the Saints that was last on the list.
  17. We have a TON to fill! We played cupcakes. You said Zay, Shady, Dawkins, and Allen. Zay's a #2, Foster's a rotational player that's at least shown starting potential (against a cupcake in 1 game) we still need a solid young RB soon to replace Shady (although I like Murphy), Dawkins is decent, Allen is the wildcard that's less a building block and more a guy needing building blocks to show he can play. Like we need a bonafide #1 WR, another WR for depth. Probably another WR lol. A Bunch of O Line.. we need a lot dude. Nothing changed this one game other than Foster having a good game. These were always our building blocks.
  18. Relative to prior performances, it was amazing. But no it was a cupcake game if we're being honest.
  19. I never really saw Improvement from him, this ain't a QB controversy I think it's just established he's not really getting a taste of real NFL games with his supporting caste so why not let him watch until Barkley pulls a Pete. Give Allen sophomore year with offense offesn and more offense his sophomore year. We'll have a really good how he stands as a QB talent if we put out this tire fire.
  20. There's been a ton of these threads lol
  21. Barkley personally. He's had the best game to date for a quarterback, doesn't know the playbook and I got frustrated not knowing jack from JA's 100/0/0 stat lines since he just can't (for good reason) operate this offense and I have no clue how good he is.. which is really the only reason I want to see him start. We got to know if he's a bust ASAP, and I don't see any further evaluation other than "well he has no help so who knooooows". I want to see him play the cupcake Jets at home for sure. Maybe Barkley's the same way against non cupcakes. I'd like to find out. More importantly I want the defense to play meaningful 3rd quarters if Barkley can get us there so I want to see if he can do that.
  22. This isn't about throwing bombs. Hopefully Allen has the armstrength to simply fit tight throws other Quarterbacks wouldn't dare to on a 20 play.. study Brett Favre haha.
  23. I didn't forget, I'm just listing my points of recent SB winners. I skipped Ravens 49ers cause Ravens weren't really good at much of anything, but did have a good offensive performance from playoff Flacco. And the Pats stole a win on a goal line defensive steal from Butler becoming elite out of nowhere. But whatever, I listed 5/7 Superbowls. The defense will never be less valuable when it's half the side of the ball. It's just sports. NBA recognized dominant defense based on relative scoring offense. That's why one of the Warriors teams are a very highly ranked team defensively. Just making the point if both sides are playing by the same rules.. philosophy changes.. offenses score more. The competitive advantage on defense is always half the game. How did Bortles and Foles wax the Pats defense? Subpar. Bortles beats Steelers after low scoring Bills game? Because they can March up and down the field on the Steelers just like everyone else. The Steelers just couldn't March up and down as much because that pesky defense made had them unable to keep up. That's how sports involving a defense and offense works. Both always equally important.
  24. Honestly just seeing a good offense for once shows me all the potential this team can have. That's the narrative this season. This game was the first time we really put together long drives for once. That's all we need to be decent. Zero offense is just soul crushing week after week. I didn't think they had it in them.
  25. Man who cares about the national media. They were right from the get go about Peterman. They don't have a bias against us they barely noticed us until we became Peterman watch.. and we deserved it! Good win today, not the worst team in the NFL, but these guys are pretty impartial to the Bills mostly because they can hardly be bothered to acknowledge us to begin with.
