  1. Oh they keep it away from them. Yeah. Buttwipes.
  2. That sucks for the player. Owners are probably ill advised to do it because players wouldn't want to go there. I think only 9 owners have used it? Like the Knicks should definitely amnesty Joakim Noah but are probably aware they're better off waiting him out and landing dat marquee FA for Madison Square Garden for Porzingod
  3. Just found out Anthony Gonzalez is a republican Congressman in Ohio lol. I hated him for shredding Texas Longhorns at will.
  4. I get that. But if YOLO isn't 100% trying to convince me on a buckeye over another dude, then that dude's gotta be pretty damn good except Ed Oliver apparently got pretty heated about a jacket with Major Applewhite. Maybe he falls in the draft! Applewhite tried to take a coat off a grown man cmon dude you messed up when you let him put it on in the first place. you can't take a man's clothes from him sitting in the cold middle of a game!
  5. These players get screwed over more than any other league financially and hazard their bodies more than any other league. And bring in more money than any other league. I don't understand why we want them to keep getting walked all over. NBA's doing just fine with players running the league. They're happy. And don't tell me it's not a team sport lol. Tennis is not a team sport. Any sport with "teammates" is just as much a team sport as football. The union sucks who TF agrees to a franchise tag?
  6. Idk anything about either but if Nick Bosa's name recognition has any bearing subconsciously in anybody's head.. in a vacuum.. I'd take the other guy.
  7. I think any quarterback's life would be easier if we had say.. the Vikings WR corps than Wood Incognito and Cordy. The lack of separation makes everything so incredibly difficult with these guys. Even if they've lost the running game and are getting pressured more, they just can't trust their reads. .. Which SUCKS for quarterbacks. Any quarterback. I mean all the elites we talk about never had WR corps this bad except MAYBE Phillip Rivers and he had some down years then. By his standards.
  8. We'd be a better team. For just this one year, we'd be better. How much better? Idk maybe one extra win and closer games, MAYBE playoffs that's what the thread is asking. I wouldn't have said so at the beginning of this year, but seeing this defense, I think it's a possibility.
  9. He said stop quoting him I win lol. Logging out.
  10. holds the ball probably for the better. hell this offense would get more first downs running the wildcat exclusively.
  11. Eh a way to spend the morning. I like to bring hot takes to a "Tyrod's career = 64 yard Saints game". WE WOULDN"T VS TAMPA THIS YEAR. THAT'S WHAT THE OP IS ABOUT. //EMOJI EMOJI EMOJI EMOJI
  12. I wouldn't base your argument on who this staff chooses to start games on a weekly basis lol. The OP is about what this staff didn't do for starters, what they DID do is go week 1 with Peterman. They're not the guys to go to for quarterback advice nobody's crucifying Allen. Not about Allen. Would this team make the playoffs with Tyrod? That is the question. We know what happens without.
  13. Let's just play pick random Tyrod games to suit our narrative. "facts are Tyrod went 285/2/0 to win against Tampa. Facts are Tyrod went 213/2/0 to beat Denver" Facts our Barkley is the only guy to get this kind of stat line in one game this year.
  14. cmon man, anti project rookie quarterbacks the coaches didn't intend to start in the first place? sure we'll crusade on that platform where Peterman ends up starting on that basis Baker ain't no project rookie, I questioned why he didn't start in the first place, I'm sure he won camp.
  15. No he would have won on this defense. Different teams dude.
  16. His team got worse every year. And that's 2.25 games with one 94.6 = Buffalo win, Browns loss. Why would we weigh 1/8th of a season equally to other seasons lol Take his career numbers and just think he lost at least one starting caliber receiver with no replacement every year.
  17. The vets and good players that had a starting spot last year sure. But we had half the team last year and a lot this year scrapping for a job that didn't really care who was quarterback just wanted whoever makes them look better. "Whoa the Quarterback throws to me when I'm not open!" Team Peterman "Whoa he doesn't scramble to make a play when I miss my block and get sacked! He throws a pick or incompletion!" Team Peterman "Hey this Peterman guy is giving me extra reps with the starters on D are gassed this is my chance!" Team Peterman But yeah the defense would be pissed.
  18. I was looking forward to another ketchup and mustard bowl. Or a screw color blind ppl bowl. I hated color rush but in retrospect it made TNF games funny at least.
  19. Maybe with Cogs, Wood, and Glenn still there. All them young bloods barely knew Tyrod the pass catchers were probably pissed he didn't trust him. Shady, Kyle Williams, Hughes, and Clay.. and probably the secondary with horrified flashbacks would literally be the only guys in his corner the way we got gutted.
  20. We're talking the Bills man, Peterman still probably starts the season lmao
  21. Defense was good last year and fluky at times. They look no fluke great. That's really the only difference from this year and last with Tyrod. We went in with Quarterbacks destined to have this offense playing in the sewers. He's also check down to Shady way more which is really what the offense had to do. He had the presence of mind not to throw often the deep balls he would Watkins with Foster and the likes since they don't get separation. He knew they had a better shot letting Shady doa Barry Sanders impression. Knew the team better and knew the receivers sucked compared to the real ones he used to play with.
  22. Jesus the Saints was one game where he got blitzed to oblivion by an extremely good defense. JA does worse! haha he has against worse defenses. I mean you can't really play much worse, but no available quarterback would put up stats on that Saints team with the offense we came in with. they were a superbowl contender LAST year elite on both sides of the ball. We say the Chargers game was unwinnable. No sir, the SAINTS game was unwinnable, the Chargers clearly hadn't put it all together to play well on a weekly basis and do better than 8-8 when they faced adversity. Obviously had the pieces, and were sure to be much improved this year.
  23. He's saying right now! Of course no GM builds his team around Tyrod over Allen... I'd wager the 2015 Broncos in win-now mode would rather have Tyrod for a season than a Brock Ozzy (less expensive Allen clone at that time) or Allen.
  24. I don't think they were a real playoff team without some fluke plays, but this defense is not straight no-fluke good. And he was terrible at sustaining drives but certainly better than anybody available quarterback on the market for this crappy offense he's working with. I mean.. we had quarterbacks that have a 5% chance of getting one first down. Tyrod's 25% chance on ugly broken plays scrapes us some ugly wins haha. Plus he's a Dolphin murderer! That's two automatic wins on the schedule haha. Dolphins fans have a skewed sample size of seeing him but it's pretty darn funny how good they think he is lol. He's game manager better than Allen absolutely. I think for the better, Allen will never be a game manager.. of course that makes his floor much lower and his ceiling much higher, but on this team.. a game manager scrapes wins and I think Tyrod was the best available (to us). Ultimately a gunslinger with this defense makes us potent. So just study Brett Favre tapes and train with Brett Favre, Allen. No reading defense. Just instinctual sheer arm power getting you by!
  25. Better defense. Tyrod's the only guy available to us that can play with a crappy offense just getting ugly first down scrambles and whatnot... it's not like he wasn't used to playing with crap last year. But primarily a much improved defense, which I didn't expect, that would have led to a less fluky version of last year's team.
