  1. Just give me a process HC, DC, GM, OC and STC and I'm gravy
  2. FOUND IT: any team dominant on one side of the ball and competent on the other is a good team. We're not either right now but rule changes don't preclude an elite defense from having an equal effect on the game. The other team is playing the same rules. So if it's so easy to March up and down the field we're going to be able to March up and down and have a competitive advantage in stopping the other team from doing so quite as much. It's just relative to the league any given season if the best defense gives up 30 points a game and the league is averaging 50 then ya don't have to score 50 on a bad offensive night. You nab the easy 35 if rules begin to get that whack on offense. Eagles D did just enough to stop Brady to win with a clear competitive advantage compared to Pats that couldn't stop Nick Foles. The Jags played shootouts after the Bills because they were playing jacked up offenses with poor defense. The teams that win Superbowls are dominant on one side and top 10 on the other. Doesn't matter which way but it's recently been the better defensive teams that win anyway! Like every recent year! Eagles D > Pats D, Pats D > Falcons D, Broncos D > Panthers D, Seattle D > Broncos D, Giants D > Pats D. Doesn't matter if it's a shootout, Nick Foles beat Brady because they were subpar defending him. Jags had it on Steelers. If it's so easy to score that Bortles can do it, his defense is just as closely matched against a great offense yet slightly gave the edge to win. Falcons shootout likewise. Just have to be better than the team on one side of the ball than they are on your side.
  3. Lol I'd do this with Wade Phillips.. probably ram's GM too, basically the whole Ram's staff really.
  4. No. Let me go back and copy and paste my quote from the other thread just like this.
  5. Well sir.. he just might be the greatest practice quarterback in NFL history. The GOAT
  6. Sounded like you were saying you would have wanted that for Peterman. Not sure your stand. I just want the right talent getting paid, not backups wrongfully paid on the basis they never see the field and coaches are too dumb to know they're an injury away from starting a horrible Quarterback. I'm pro Bell and anti Peterman. A game literally funded to be entertainment should have merit based contracts not dumb luck landing somewhere where you are horrible and backing up Eli Manning or somebody his whole career. Tyrod was apparently an excellent QB should Flacco have gone down. And he'd have deserved every penny backing up Flacco as opposed to hypothetical Pete.
  7. JaMarcus Russell y'all ain't even close. No JaMarcus Russell had a much stronger arm
  8. Cool Peter King you can say that about any friggin team starting 4 QBs in a year, like you did with the Jets and Manning, or the Browns and Manning. Nice regurgitated tweet everybody is aware. Hate that lazy dude. He thinks he's spitting mind blowing facts. Yes there were
  9. You don't realize franchise tags suck donkey balls for players WORTH 20M in the world's most precarious position: transcendental talent that you and I aren't worth and can't possibly understand. Dude's an injury away from not getting paid his worth.. you and i's holiday vacation isn't the end of the world, and you and I are not looking at getting fired from 20m salariea on any given moment after a career ending injury with no compensation because we've been franchise tagged at work. Your analogy to work breaks down on the fact that Le'Veon Bell is extremely visible and marketable to other employers in a way we will never be. Hahaha I guess that's sums up my feelings. Dude's getting screwed in a very precarious position and sport and we're just equating it to our crappy jobs saying "WE GET SCREWED ALL THE TIME HE SHOULD GET SCREWED EVEN MORE WHAT WITH ALL THE MONEY HE HAS THAT I WANT"
  10. Dude.. **** the Steelers Team Le'Veon
  11. He would have been our best reciever this year lol. Wideout, slot, flats. And that ain't even his best attribute.
  12. A few.. and if the starter goes down they're exposed and it's the coaches/GM's ***es on the line, and total team tire fire if Peterman goes in. That's why the Ty Detmers of the world were competent in their few games starting. Every coach in their right mind wants a backup that can play in relief lol, ask McCarthy about Brett Hundley being his chosen backup. He done messed up.
  13. But his career shouldn't have ever lasted haha. This is a good thing we're not paying him a dime to be worse than useless backup.... Wait he's still getting paid isn't he
  14. Ugh so out of context what's your beef with running backs? They'd be a better team no doubt. James Connor is in concussion protocol. It might be great if they could replace him with THE BEST RB IN THE GAME. Steelers with and without L Bell are an elite to great team. Literally has nothing to do with Shady who's impact is the same on a team that's a dumpster fire with or without him
  15. Sounds like you're just saying they messed up. I mean they did. Josh Allen means a hill of beans this year and probably next year if that don't address the most important position by getting a solid vet, and surrounding any starting Quarterback they want with decent role players. Getting JA doesn't mean they didn't screw up the position, you'll see that today lol Dude trust me, I can't pick his brain at all. I have no idea. All I know his he figured out how to "not tank [purposefully]".
  16. Sounds like absolute speculation. Regardless Schwartz shoulda taken the job
  17. Can we put votes on annual poster awards? 26 Corner Blitz for best thread starters. Hapless for being the most open minded (to a fault). Ole Dirty B for most successful hot takes of the year
  18. JaMarcus Russell.. Jay Cutler.. as Favre would say.. "who gives a ****?"
  19. @Billsfan1972 yo Aaron Rodgers never played for 3 years. That's sorta the backup we want at best. Not the polar opposite. And oh did Favre and Brady missed millions on money and fame putting in a starting spot too early. Nope! They were good Quarterbacks! Poor poor Pete. Coulda been the best practice preseason QB ever. Heard that's better than having a good backup when his number is called
  20. Why don't you run the bills?! Lmao you probably woulda played all your chips on Peterman instead of being a rational poster criticizing the circus show /s
  21. I struck out at the bars tonight. Might as well get on the forum to say I haven't watched the past 2 2nf halves because. Why. Red dead redemption is out
  22. I'm just in a rebuild is all. McBean would be proud of my 2-7 season
  23. HE'S RUINED A LOT OF ****ING FANTASY KEEPER LEAGUE TEAMS THIS YEAR
  24. Idk if you're agreeing or not. Why sign him elsewhere to the worst situation imaginable and not intend to start. Why give him whatever stupid contract incentive you just cited if he's should be starting this week?? Beane's tanking. Because if not he's somehow creating every excuse to start Peterman as if he's simply playing a great backup, not the best tank QB the game has ever seen.
  25. If I'm not mistaken Jim Kelly has won MVP honors only zero times in his career. BECAUSE IT'S ****ING HARD. But that plan didn't work out did it? Because that plan was contingent on not having the worst Quarterback ever being the #1 of 2 Quarterbacks. WHO WOULDA KNOWN WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. MCBEANE JUST GOT SUPER UNLUCKY STARTING THEIR QUARTERBACK TOO EARLY AFTER PETERMAN BLEW IT. 1. Any good NFL Quarterback should be able to servicable rookie year. Why draft one you wouldn't expect to be? Name me projects pegged as couldn't start for 2 years but could be HOF later. 2. The Bills had a terrible way to keep him on the bench if that was so precious to them. They came in with a hopefule franchise QB and Nate
