  1. It's gonna take a Super Bowl to get him on SNL right?
  2. "I'm not sure anybody wants really to play the Bills right now because they're not sure what they're going to get. They are hoping to get the inconsistent. If they get hot Josh Allen, look out," (Peyton) Manning said. https://www.si.com/nfl/2024/01/10/peyton-manning-josh-allen-bills-playoffs-super-bowl
  3. it sounds like I'm in the minority, I would not be scared of meathead in the AFCE.
  4. I billieve there's at least a 51% chance that one of Pittsburgh or Jacksonville loses. Either way we are winning.
  5. Again, I do not disagree. I wouldn't trade Josh for anything and think he is one of the best players in the league
  6. not disagreeing with those thoughts. All I was trying to say was he shouldn't be an MVP favorite.
  7. There's been too many games where I felt the defense actually did their part over the course of 4 quarters and the offense sputtered. I just don't think it's an MVP season by Josh. I still think he can win us a Super Bowl this year and yes, without him we would not be sniffing the playoffs. I also would wager Josh wins a couple of MVP's before its all said and done. Just not this year unless narrative season gets extra crazy. If you were to ask me who I'd promote, McCaffrey has my vote* *subject to change
  8. Maybe a silly thing to do, but when I remove all numbers from the equation (i know they are integral to the debate), take two giant steps back and think about the season to-date, I don't think Josh Allen has had an MVP season. To me it's a year in that someone like CMC or Tyreek Hill should win it. Their teams look very differently when they are not on the field.
  9. This is as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop
  10. "We'll take the ball, and we're gonna score!"
  11. clearly you don't get it is the principle for him. we are good with spiting ourselves, knowing full well it will bring sadness. Sometimes you got to take a stand regardless of it having zero impact on any meaningful change. we gotta answer to ourselves.
  12. 1 option I believe would be to Sign up for NFL+ then cancel before free trial ends. assuming they still have a free trial. **might not be able to use your smart tv though as NFL + only works on certain devices.
  13. Are these 'Angels in the Outfield' rules?? Or can they help us in the championship too?
  14. I went to buy some... vegetables.. last night and the guy serving me was wearing a bedazzled cowboys hat. I said in a good natured tone, good luck to your cowboys, just not this week, and i was expecting a light hearted reply but he just said with a serious face and angry tone, "***** the bills!" He did not get a tip.
  15. I've been watching Hill a little more closely than usual the past few weeks as I had been betting his receiving yards prop bet each of the last few weeks. He has been banged up during a few of the games I've watched even before the Titans game and the difference between the Miami offense with or without him is so great. I can't think of another team that looks so different with one (non-QB) player out. Maybe CMC in SF. I'd have more faith in a SF team to figure things out without CMC than I would with Miami without Hill.
  16. At first I thought this was a 69 joke with the use of "nice"..
  17. tough one last night
  18. hahah oh snap, thanks! obviously did not think about that. guess that extra hedge wasn't necessary but now I'll really be rooting for OT. I was watching the odds go from +245 all the way up to +290 on the Seahawks and was happy I held out on making my hedges until then. But then I saw a couple of the books bump it down so I placed my hedges. I was worried if news that Geno is playing (although i doubt they will announce it until tomorrow) dropped that I would be getting much worse value..
  19. I placed a couple hedges on Seahawks (sign up bonus on a site I hadnt used :)) and then realized, &#$@, what if it ends in a tie?! so I placed a bet on "yes, there will be overtime" at +1480 lol, so I think I'm covered regardless of outcome. I will double dip of course if it goes to OT and there is a winner.
  20. that first leg where you pick a 1st half winner and a different FT winner is usually around +700 or +800 in an expected close game. worth it to me to throw in both results (and a couple sheckles on the 1st half tie possibilities as well)
  21. +74997 .. i plan to place large hedge on seahawks.
  22. I caught the segment on Pats show yesterday and he specifically said that he would be interested in coaching, but not until his kids get a little bit older, fwiw. He referenced the cushy job in Bristol as well.
  23. Did you know that Chris Drury played in the LLWS?
  24. put the pitchforks away, jfc
