  1. Maybe not need but it certainly helps. Lance Armstrong was really good at riding a bike but he took steroids anyways.
  2. Amazing this has to be explained. It always helps no matter who you play. Remember the old saying any given sunday. Well that doesn’t exist when you’re the patriots.
  3. I’m sorry but the point has been made over and over again how well the patriots organization is run and how smart they are. They knew full well what they were doing and that it was wrong. Their story is complete garbage. If you’re there to film some bogus tv program about a scout then why is the crew filming the sideline for 8 plus minutes. No part of that would be able to be used on your stupid show anyways. Nfl must come down hard.
  4. And just when I thought I couldn’t dislike Steven a smith even more he had to open his mouth. I don’t even mind the other guys take of well maybe so maybe not with cheating but Steven a is saying they are and have been cheating so what. why aren’t the other teams cheating then? It’s their fault for also not breaking the rules. That’s the point you want to make? Like really? This is why the nfl has to come in and do something and end this bull####.
  5. But but the coaches lol. Holy crap people use your brains. I don’t have the time to post all the clips of John brown also not getting any separation when teams have played press coverage and Allen was forced to throw a quick slant to him. Multiple times this play has failed. Just throw a freaking slant guy, duke has a much bigger window to throw to then John brown. They aren’t the same type of receiver. John brown has been great at running routes when he is given time and mostly against a zone and is wide open. Most of these throws resulted in 0 yac. That Dallas touchdown was the most yac he’s had al year and again it was because he slipped behind the defender in zone coverage. Just watch the duke td again that’s the play we needed him for. No one is saying he is a wr 1. He’s a situational player that should be a red zone target that’s it. Stop throwing it to John brown who has no window because he is small and has trouble playing physical. Check the tape.
  6. Singletary should play the role Sony Michel does in NE and yeldon the role of white. Maybe keep gore activated in case of emergency but that’s it he’s pretty much toast.
  7. Maybe so, but it’s always been part of the role like it or not as a fan or member of the media to be critical of the head coach’s decisions. And the obvious elephant in the room right now should be why is gore on the field and why is duke Williams not on the field in situations where he can contribute to help this team.
  8. Oh really? So you don’t think fan pressure or media pressure hasn’t played in coach’s decisions before? Being a stubborn meathead is usually what gets coaches fired. I like McDermott but he’s left me scratching my head a few times in the past, and usually he has done a good job improving from those mistakes. People should be on him and Daboll for their questionable use of players on the offense.
  9. This *1000 add in the business ties some of these refs have with nfl owners it’s no wonder they make certain calls.
  10. As my dad use to say “scoreboard” right now all the signs point to duke Williams deserving to get Pt in certain situations. Daboll is not using all of his weapons wisely. All this conjecture about hey maybe duke Williams will drop balls is nonsense. All the guy did in the cfl training camp preseason and his limited game time was catch the football and provide a bigger target that can work for josh Allen. If he falls on his face so be it, deactivate him. But posters here advocating still for foster and McKenzie is beyond excusable. This is the nfl. If you’re on the field you need to produce or get the hell off ala zay Jones.
  11. Singletary should be used like Sony Michel And yeldon like white for the patriots. Gore should just coach them up from the sidelines.
  12. And that’s more than Robert foster for the entire 2019 season. What is wrong with you people. I’ve never seen so much bs tossed at a guy that has produced when given a chance and has a completely different skill set than the other wrs on the roster. We aren’t asking for the world for duke. All we are expecting is a stat line of 3 or 4 catches for 30-40 yards with a possible td and red zone threat from week to week. Any reasonable fan can see this from a mile away.
  13. Seriously what is the point of gore at this point. He’s done. They need to activate Yeldon and get him going in the passing game at least. Just another weapon to use out of the backfield.
  14. You know like what I’d like to see is a wr that can catch the ball pass the line of scrimmage . How many did foster and McKenzie have today? How many jet sweeps did foster and McKenzie get today. For the love of god put a freaking wr on the field that can catch and the only one that has done that and shown the skill set for that is duke. I don’t care if he is on the roster next year but next week his ass better be on the active roster.
  15. Do fans not pay attention to the nfl? There are numerous examples of players looking good in preseason and playing good when they get a chance just to not get a real shot in the game. Then they finally catch a break and low and behold they contribute. See fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson for obvious examples. Come on now.
  16. Exactly, that td in Tennessee was huge and thank god we won that game otherwise we are looking at not making it into the playoffs. But fans will constantly tell us Daboll and McDermott always make the right decisions. Gore is also done by the way. this guy shouldn’t even be in the nfl at this point. He’s a hall of famer but stick a fork in that guy already.
  17. Well it sure was a team loss on offense. As good as brown and Beasley are there are things they just aren’t able to do because of their size. So yea duke Williams would have helped I’m not saying he’s an amazing talent they aren’t playing but he has a skill set for certain plays on the field and the bills are obviously lacking that. It would be great if they could rely on Knox more over the middle but he has butter hands for some reason when he is in the center of the field. This. it helps josh out a lot being able to do this when teams blitz him.
  18. And you think you’re smarter because you believe the opposite? Ok pal cool story. Duke Williams is the only wr on the roster that has shown he can go up and get the ball and be a threat over the middle. McKenzie is a waste of a roster spot. Foster should be doing what they want from McKenzie. The last play of the game is the exact play you want to run for a player like duke not small John brown. The same thing happened in the eagles game on a fourth and long. So yes the bills had a great chance to win today if duke Williams plays.
  19. Didn’t see the game live so may have thought different at the time. I think looking at that play and the Gronk elbow to the back of white s head was worse. Just sayin .....
  20. We also had multiple hall of famers in the 90s but yea I get your point. We could argue Evans and moulds should have made it some years but the offense has been so bad since the super bowl era ended. I’ve always believed offense wins you games and gets you to the playoffs but defense can win you the championship there’s been a reason we haven’t been to the playoffs that much even with some great defenses the last twenty plus years.
  21. Allen is not going to the bench next year, I’m a skeptic but there is no way that is happening. Your first round pick that has a winning record does not get benched in his third year.
  22. I was wondering if this would pop up o don’t even remember seeing him on the field today. That hurts. He better not turn into a maybin of dt. Maybe there’s a last resort shot at de of this continues next year.
  23. It’s now a serious red flag Allen can throw the ball downfield with any sort of accuracy. Even a bad qb could get lucky once in a while, Allen keeps finding ways to miss wide open wrs downfield. The one to McKenzie where he was wide open by 5 yards should have been a walk in td. Even tyrod even though he never seemed to hit these wrs in stride could at least hit on some downfield throws. Allen is flat out awful and holding this team back. Also situational football is something he is really struggling with. That back shoulder throw to brown was a terrible decision. Beasley is wide open on the other side for an easy first down and helps put them in better range. I know Allen doesn’t kick field goals and that’s not his fault but we have a new scott Norwood on the team that in 2019 can seem to hit a fg over 45 yards. Keep the chains moving instead of shooting your self in the foot there.
