  1. Everyone signed and Beane has $9M in cap. Good job front office!
  2. Roster is at 88 now. I still think there is a good chance the Bills bring in "camp legs" for PK and P. Personally I think it's the right thing to do. I don't want Haack and Bass kicking every kick in the 4th quarter of preseason games with 3rd stringers blocking. What if Haack or Bass have a strained leg? After all the Bills need a lot of kicks to find their new returners.
  3. Without Ralph Wilson there would be no Buffalo Bills. Image of the stadium the night of Ralph's death.
  4. One thing for certain is Hollister will give Knox some competition during camp/preseason. Something he hasn't had in the last 2 years. With Kroft never 100% healthy and Sweeney hurt last year Knox has been a default starter. I will hope that competition will bring out the best in all 3 of these guys and someone can step up enough to make the TE position at least adequate and not a weakness. I hope for the same at RB and the run game. Let's watch the preseason and let things play out. With some continued improvement from Josh he has the ability to make a "average" TE something more than "average".
  5. The way I see it is the Bills will field the best starting 5 due to their combined pass blocking skills. That's the high priority. Run blocking is important but will only be determined AFTER the pass blocking consideration. It is quite obvious (I've posted this before) that last abridged off season was dedicated to the passing game. We all benefited from that. I predict that this camp/preseason will have a more balanced approach and the run game work and reps will be increased. I can see this improving the run game slightly. While it would be great to have the running game "yards per carry" to increase by 0.4 yards but ultimately keeping Josh upright and in the pocket trumps everything else. That goes for the RBs play too. I plan to watch the IOL battle this summer with all that in mind.
  6. As I see it, barring injuries, it's most likely a camp battle between Addison and Obada.
  7. It's kind of strange that there isn't a camp kicker and punter signed yet.
  8. He's definitely on the outside looking in. Others have speculated there could be a trade coming up and DJ may have some late round value. If he doesn't find another team he could end up on the PS. Barring injuries there are just too many DLs so something has to give.
  9. You could be totally correct about the Addison pay cut precluding a trade/cut but my comment was IF Obada way overperforms. If that happens I'm not positive what might happen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  10. Yes. He now puts team leaders like Josh in a tough position. You know that the national media will be all over this when camp starts. Cole can fix this and he should. He let his emotions get the better of him (we all have done this in our lives) but it's now up to him as to where it ends up.
  11. True but I see it more as a numbers game if he shows up really well in the summer. If he makes to roster I see Addison as expendable. Hughes Addison Epenesa Obada Rousseau Basham I can't see them keeping all 6 plus 4 DTs. Then again maybe they do but it takes from another position group. I'm seeing a total of 9 DL.
  12. Yes. The potential for it snowballing is as varied as the personalities and individual situations in OBD. Like I said, I hope is blows over and/or Cole realizes what his actions could produce for the team. There is a month for all this to change before camp starts.
  13. I have high hopes that Efe Obada makes Addison irrelevant.
  14. My hope is that they will not be put into any tough situations. My concern (I will state this again) is IF Cole does not follow the NFL/NFLPA agreed upon protocols what will be the result? Roger Goodell is not going to be the enforcer. That is going to be "delegated" to the individual teams. Beane, McDermott and the coaches will have to handle any "violations". IF fines and other punishments are handed out it will create tensions on the team in the minds of some players agreeing with Cole. IF they look the other way they lose authority and the respect of other players who may not of got the vaccine but did it for the team. The media will add it's IF's and a lot of other situations could arise. I once again HOPE none of this will happen but I can see consequences in Cole's actions. I don't envy Bills Management for what they might face.
  15. The only way I see Addison cut/traded is if Efe Obada looks great in camp/preseason. Beane is not going to get rid of Hughes on his last year. He stays as the vet. Maybe a team that took some injuries at DE would be interested in a trade for Addison. He would carry a $5.4M cap hit so it would likely only be a 7th rounder. I kind of hope something like this would happen. IMO
  16. Did I accidently click onto "Off the Wall"? This is about the NFL/NFLPA agreement not about the merits of the vaccine. I think I'll leave this thread now. Go Bills!
  17. Which is going to put Beane and McDermott in a tough position. That is what I don't want to see. Cole can do what he wants but he is acting like he is going to be a problem child over this. I really hope this doesn't escalate and split the team. This is an NFL/NFLPA decision but somehow it's going to be the Buffalo Bills leadership that will suffer I fear.
  18. My comment was not spiteful. I was just saying if you don't think any "news" at this time of year is relevant then why would you need to comment. You do what you got to do. Posy away!
  19. I really didn't think his tweets from yesterday were going to amount to anything long term but this one is a bit concerning. He seems to want to keep this going and it is going to be a distraction for the team.
  20. I'm all for it happening!
  21. Good to hear Antonio Williams is making the most of his reps. I like his running style and hope he can impress and make the team somehow. I want to hear he is tearing it up on STs next. Antonio Williams takes advantage of opportunity With Zack Moss still in a red non-contact jersey and Matt Breida missing another practice, Antonio Williams got a chance to get more action on Wednesday. The second-year undrafted running back flashed the quickness and playmaking ability that Bills fans saw out of him when he played in the finale last year against the Miami Dolphins, scoring two touchdowns in the blowout. Williams scored a touchdown on a nice run up the middle with Trubisky in at quarterback. After a few incompletions, Trubisky targeted Williams short two plays later and he made a quick move upfield and might have scored another one in a real game situation. The expectation is that Devin Singletary, Moss and Breida are the odds on favorite to make the 53-man roster, but Williams is a player to watch as he gets a chance to perform this summer.
  22. The only news is about Mini Camp because that is what is happening now. Maybe just take the summer off and come back when it's time for you to have newsworthy comments. In the meantime some of us like to check in on what is happening and discuss. Personally if I was a Pats* fan I would be "concerned" about the QB position and would want to know how it looks early in the summer.
  23. A perfect recap of his development. His mental side of the game is going to be as important as his physical side. This start surely isn't a plus.
