  1. Who has this franchise "quick fired"? The answer is literally no one (not as far as Head Coaches are concerned). Nothing States that you have to commit to someone for multiple years, especially if that guy has proven that he is incompetent or flat out not ready for his position. McD has yet to prove that he has any idea what he is actually doing. From gutting the roster of the most talented players to his horrendous hires for his assistant coaches to his lack of in game management. The benching of Taylor at 5-4 was the most astounding. Especially using hindsight. If this team misses the playoffs by 1 game, the pitchforks and torches should be out in full force.
  2. After Peterman was benched the Bills and Chargers both scored 17 in the 2nd half. I agree with you that if Taylor starts the game the Bills have a chance to win. For anyone to say anything different is ridiculous. That one game may cost this team a playoff spot. If that happens, that's a fireable offense.
  3. I get what he is saying and its still crazy. Why pass on the playoff opportunity for a kid who just had the literal worst half of football ever played at the QB position?
  4. That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. You'd really rather NOT go to the playoffs than go to the playoffs? Wow.
  5. I get what you're saying. To me it's like the CBS broadcast is" lighter" to my eye while FOX seems like it has a "darker" shade or tint.
  6. I disagree completely about Taylor being a good QB (he is) but the best OCs (coaches) make up for a lack of talent on the roster
  7. He doesn't create enough separation which will keep him from ever being a number 1 but he can carve a nice niche as possession receiver.
  8. The only time the OLine blocked well today in pass pro was when they kept 9 guys into block. The two man route combos are absolute lunacy and Dennison runs them entirely to frequently. As much as I loathe Dennison he has to do that because the offensive line gets beat like a drum on a weekly basis.
  9. The OLine was as bad as they have been all year. Shady averaged 2.2 ypc. Taylor literally was the entire offense today.
  10. There isn't a WR on the roster capable of creating YAC other than maybe Thompson and he is a JAG if I have ever seen one. We have a team full of possession receivers who can't create separation. What in the world do you expect?
  11. You had me until "draft a franchise QB". We have a guy that can and HAS won games in this league. If it were easy to draft a "Franchise QB" all 32 teams would have one.
  12. O'Leary could've gotten up but I think he was gunshy because of the Jets game where he got up and then was stripped. The play call on the very next play should be the nail that seals Dennisons coffin.
  13. I'm new here but I don't think I'm out of line saying that you're one of the most agenda driven, hate fueled and clueless posters I've seen on this board.
  14. Whether you like Rex or not, it doesn't change the fact that he is 100% correct. It was an awful decision to start Peterman and quite literally everyone in the football world knows that.
  15. We can talk about the low snap count for Dareus but the fact of the matter is, this defense has been historically bad since his departure. In the 3 games since he has been gone: 2 sacks 638 rushing yards allowed (212 ypg) 114 points allowed (38 ppg) 0-3 record Looking at those numbers it's hard to argue that he wasn't the glue that kept the defense together. Dareus played on 1st down and 3rd down the majority of the time. 1st down is a down where the run is prevalent and sets the stage for an offenses drive and how they'll attack the defense. 3rd down is a down where its dependant on the situation but a 3rd and short is primarily a run and 3rd and 6+ is a pass rushing down. Dareus commanded double teams based solely on size and talent which freed up KW/Hughes and Lawson to get 1 on 1 matchups and allowed the LBers to shoot their gap and play with speed. We don't have a player on the roster who commands the same respect and it has shown over the last 3 games. To only get a 6th round pick out of him should be a fireable offense all by itself.
  16. That is their own doing though. The Bills defense is 32nd in the league at creating 3 and outs. 32nd in the league at making the opposing offense punt. 26th in the league in yards per drive and 28th in the league in points allowed per drive. The defense has tape on them now and creating turnovers has stopped. They've been exposed for a lack of talent and its only going to get worse. tl;dr - The defense stinks
  17. Don't speak for everyone. I, in fact, do believe Taylor can be the answer at QB.
  18. Exactly. There are seven 1st rounders on that list and 6/7 were the #1 overall pick. Massive difference. He also threw more interceptions then any of those guys did and he managed to do it in the 1st HALF.
  19. He traded speed and explosiveness (Watkins/Goodwin/Woods) for height, age and less talent (Holmes/Jones/Matthews and now Benjamin). He allowed the offensive scheme and offensive line to be completely changed without adding anything other than Dawkins. He traded a run stuffing/pass rushing DT for a 6th round pick without any plan on the roster to replace him. We now have a plodding, slow ineffective offense outside of Shady and Taylor (the only explosive players on the offense) an out of their depth and out of their comfort zone offensive line and a defense that can't rush the passer or stop the run. If you don't find these things concerning or showing a tendency for the propensity of player McD is bringing in, you're either blind to the process or are intentionally being argumentative.
  20. Brady is the GOAT though. He and Rodgers are the only two QBs in the league who can make average players better. The Bills defense is currently 32nd in the league at creating 3 and outs. If they are tired and demoralized they have no one to blame other than themselves.
