  1. I can definitely live with a trade up now, much much easier to manage. We will have #2, a 2nd and a 3rd this year and not be on the hook in 2019. Finally a front office that is worth a damn.
  2. 12 + 22 gets us up to #3 overall according to the draft value chart.
  3. I'm okay with another 3rd, but a 2nd would be unreal.
  4. Upscale is overrated, I'd rather rub elbows with the blue collar average guys than the upscale snobs, but maybe that's just me, I'm a simple man.
  5. I'd loooove Butler, at the right price. If we can get him at a Micah Hyde level contract, yes please. As an 8-10 million dollar man? No thanks.
  6. I think this class will produce a few gems, just from a sheer numbers standpoint. I mean Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Jackson, Rudolph, Lauletta, White etc. Too many good prospects for there not to be at least a couple stars.
  7. Kevin Kolb all over again, he'll end up on IR within 6 games.
  8. None of the above, Tom Savage. I loved him as a college player, his stats are decieving, he has not scratched the surface as far as what he can be. He has the potential to be a very good backup that can hold the fort down for a few games.
  9. Trade Cordy Glenn for a conditional 5th.
  10. We should trade down until we have every pick in the 7th round.
  11. I wouldn't rule out the Redskins, I know they got Alex Smith, maybe they draft for the future? Cards at 15, Ravens and Chargers may want to move up too.
  12. Teams usually trade up to jump a team that is about to draft a QB. In the top 10 I see the Browns, Giants and Jets that need a QB and the Giants may take Barkley. I think Oakland's phone is going to be blowing up with calls.
  13. I love Rudolph, where will he go though? I've seen him go as late as the 4th round in some mocks, but I think the latest he goes is the top of the 2nd. Am I overvaluing him?
  14. They have Mason Rudolph going 32, I really like him too. I like Baker Mayfield as well though, I like the two most controversial QBs in the draft. I don't think I'd go as high as 5 for Baker though, maybe 7-8 if we could get a fair trade or throw Glenn in to lessen the blow.
  15. I get **** not because I don't want to move up, I get **** because I don't want to move into the top 2-3. As I said, I could see 7-8 maybe for Rosen, Mayfield or Darnold, but I cannot justify going all in for say #2.
  16. Jesus Christ, can you guys summarize your thoughts in like 3-4 paragraphs? I appreciate the responses, but it's like a tsunami full of text. It would take me at least an hour to respond back to all of this on my phone.
  17. Also, if we do sign McCarron it's highly unlikely we draft a QB in the 1st round which is a big mistake! We need a veteran backup like Tom Savage, a guy who can help in the film room and keep the ship afloat for 5-6 games if our starter gets hurt. Many of these highly touted free agent QBs are going cost a lot of money and they're going to want to start. I think we should take that money and build the roster. Wait for one of the top 4 to drop to 7-10, move up without mortgaging the farm and take your QB of the future. Baker Mayfield with Tom Savage backing him up is a strong group.
  18. I want Tom Savage. I think he would come cheap, he would be great as a veteran backup behind Baker Mayfield.
  19. Congrats! I hope your wife and baby have a happy, healthy delivery.
  20. I like Rudolph, most places have him listed in the 2nd all the way to the 4th round. Wouldn't surprise me if he went at the top of the 2nd though (33-35 range), that's kind of where I see him. Could be wrong, but that's my guess.
  21. I think they're posturing at this point. It's a highstakes poker game and I am calling their bluff.
