Dolphins giving the Pats deep pass after deep pass and Jones finally hit one. Probably should have been a pick a play later.

How long until Hill is complaining to the media and throwing teammates under the bus. He seems like the TO mold as far as loving his QB until he doesn't. I don't think Tua looks talented enough to feed Hill the ball as much as he'd like.

James Cook is going to be a major problem
Maine-iac replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
While it's unfortunate for Cook to have a fumble in his first game and Moss also I still don't understand why we have a RB who's one of them most elusive in the league and game after game we only find him 7 or 8 carries and choose instead to run our franchise QB with a 3 td lead. Cook will be fine and hopefully even more so than Moss. I have always felt Moss in the most replaceable person on offense. -

and run your franchise QB? Wouldn't hurt my feelings if Keenum was handing off the rest of the game. -

Best running back in on the sidelines 80 percent of the time. Sorry Moss has been alright, Cook is a rookie, why the hell is Singletary not running out the clock. -

Can we please put Singletary in the game and imitate a running team. Close this thing out relatively injury free. -
Bills' ticket prices soar as new season fast approaches
Maine-iac replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got tickets for 110$ a piece last year. Was looking at tickets for the Steelers game also then clicked add taxes and fees and realized the total went up 70 bucks just in fees. -
According to PFF Dawkins has less sacks over his first 5 seasons than Peters did over his first 5 and it's not really that close. Which is amazing when you consider Dawkins has played about 200 more snaps per season. Peters led the league in sacks allowed in his last year with the Bills and he was an out of shape holdout. The guy was a talented headache. Peters was to LT's what Owens was to WR's. Looking back after Peters career has unfolded is one thing but at the time many people thought the Bills were getting rid of a headache and would just draft a LT like Oher but we drafted Maybin instead. https://walterfootball.com/jasonpeterstrade.php https://bleacherreport.com/articles/323415-jason-peters-trade-looks-better-and-better-for-the-buffalo-bills

Never was a Peters fan. Super athletic, great talent, gave up a ton of sacks some years and took plays off. I'd go with Moulds also but on the current team with Diggs and Davis there are other spots I'd rather fill. I might take Nate Clements for his mix of coverage and run support in a zone heavy defense. Maybe put big Pat Williams in the middle of the line. I'm going to go out on a limb since guard is a spot we could use help and say I'd take Incognito if he played like he did the first couple of years we signed him. The guy was a monster. Really hoping Saffold, Elam, and hopefully Settle or Phillips nail down those different positions.

Cooper Kupp ran what a 4.6 something and literally carried the Rams offense to a SB win. People complain about speed with Motor yet who shows up on fastest carry of the week(mph) other than McKenzie, it's Motor. People make far too big a deal about 40 times. For every 10 receivers with a great 40 time I can show you 9 busts.

Rd 6 pick 185 (6): CB Christian Benford, Villanova
Maine-iac replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering we play safeties over the top all day let him play tight and ball hawk and if a speedy one gets by there's hyde or poyer to clean up. -
Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St
Maine-iac replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's face it given the problems we had last year if this guy was a great punt returner he could make the team but he shows all the signs of being a great receiver also. -

If they aren't picking a LB here to replace Edmunds they might as well have tried to get Dean to fill in for Milano or be the 3rd LB when we go out of nickel or dime. I wouldn't take Dean to replace Edmunds but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have tried to take him if I was planning on taking a LB in the 3rd. -

What are they going to do about the fact that he's under 6 feet and under 230. For us I just don't see any LB that size coming in and doing more than what Edmunds does. He'd basically be a better tackling shorter Milano. -

Is it time to get younger at safety? A bunch of safeties ran 4.3s in the combine. Any of them make sense in the 3rd? -

From whats left I'd like to see Robinson (a big back), Wooden at CB, or Jones from UConn but I don't see him still being there. We don't need Jones but i like his size and ability. Wooden is a really big corner with great speed, but all that said with the clamoring for a RB I'd love to see us draft a big back to compliment Motor. -
Von Miller $17.5M Compared To Past Bills Pass Rushers
Maine-iac replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think the front 4 takes as long to gel as mixing and matching guys in the secondary. I bet we will see a much more disruptive front seven right out of the gate. Maybe someone will pop a run on us from a mistake on a run fit but overall i can't picture this group not playing in the backfield way more than they have the past two seasons. -
Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million
Maine-iac replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Checking espn all day hoping for chandler jones or a legit pass rush superstar. Go to the gym for a couple hours come home and boom ....... Von Miller! All we needed last year was one guy who could put a QB on his back and even without that statistically we had the best defense in the leaugue. This next season will all be on the coaches. The talent will be there. All that cliche stuff. One game at a time, do your job, but make no mistake we have the talent.
