  1. Third year in a row we play KC at KC. What’s up with that?
  2. Shorter came to PSU as a 5star, #1 WR recruit. Was injured, then disappointing when he played. Stiff, didn’t separate, dropped balls. I heard he was better at Florida, but didn’t see much of him when I watched them play. He’s still tall, so there’s that.
  3. Thanks, you’re right. I’ll take a lap now…
  4. I’m confused. Your source is stating that Addison “was the only WR they had a first round grade on “, yet Beane directly stated they didn’t have a 1st round grade on any of the 4 WR taken before Bills picked. For the record, I think Kincaid was a better pick thanAddison.
  5. Excellent review Gunner. I think your work is better than some of the people who do this for a living (McShay and Graham for 2). I agree that a safety like Hamilton could take Kincaid one on one. For most plays. But not every play. Also, that’s taking a #14 to neutralize a #25 pick. So you can look at it as Kincaid neutralizing Hamilton.
  6. Ahh… Daniel Jeremiah, who is the best draft guy on TV, had him as 9th best prospect. you gotta stop watching ESPN.
  7. I’m saying Baltimore going jpj.
  8. Shoot. Would have loved to move up for JSN.
  9. Read through the thread. It’s pretty clear. The very first thing he writes (that JSN is off the board due to lack of production) is blatantly wrong. So that calls into question everything that follows. Look at it this way. If you were reading a history of WWII, and the first sentence is “the US entered WWII after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor”, would you believe anything that followed?
  10. But that’s not what you wrote. Here is what you wrote. “WR Fit: Jordan Addison Excludes: JSN (production), Zay Flowers (age), Quentin Johnston (production), Hyatt (production)” I don’t know. When posters write stuff that’s obviously wrong, and then lie about it, that makes me think said poster’s opinions are useless.
  11. Are you seriously excluding the best WR in the draft due to “lack of production”? I would hope that you realize this glaring error indicates that you’re clueless, thus rendering your entire post worthless.
  12. Call me crazy, but I think Darnell Washington and Cole Beasley have different skill sets.
  13. Gunner, really appreciate your work. But… While I agree that it’s unlikely Bernard will hit as a good player, I think Shakir, and Benford..especially Benford…could end up as multi-year starters. Which in my opinion, is hitting big for 5-6 round guys.
  14. The idea of Kelly being a loser since he was on the losing end of 4 SB is silly. If Bills kicker had made a 47 yd field goal we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
  15. A good list, but I don’t think Robinson, JSN or Johnson will be available. I don’t like Addison or Flowers since they duplicate players we already have. I don’t know much about Johnston, but hear that he’s a bit raw. We want someone to contribute next year. That’s why I’m leaning to Campbell. I thin that he’ll be available, he’s athletiic, and was very productive in college.
  16. I basically agree with what you say about players not making significant moves up and down teams draft boards. But we (fans) typically know very little about any teams true draft boards. And they may differ significantly. Most of what we know about teams draft boards is a synthesis of information (and misinformation) that’s been leaked to guys with good contacts , such as Mel Kiper. Thus, invariably, we will see a guy with “consensus” 3rd round grade picked in the 1st round. While another 1st round guy will drift into the 3rd round. TLDR. I agree that players don’t make big moves up or down draft boards. But each teams board is different, and we don’t know their boards.
  17. Zero chance. yet that is precisely what the Bills did 4 yrs ago.
  18. This is silly. I haven’t seen anything close to this strategy used since Eli Manning and John Elway, both >20 yrs ago. since that time, there have been 640 1st round picks made, by >100 different GMs. And not one has used this strategy. Not one. Because it’s effin stoopid!
  19. Are you 12? How many adults use the term “tard” these days to refer to individuals who are developmentally delayed or challenged? Do you have any family members or friends who have kids with Down syndrome for example? SMH
  20. I’ve got a few thought on Scruggs. He’s an above average athlete compared to other centers at the combine. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/juice-scruggs/32005343-5267-3400-4cb9-0ed0b61b2e6f The analysts dinged his production , but I think unfairly. He suffered a serious back injury in an MVA which kept him out of football for 2 years. He’s now recovered and basically started every game the past two years, at guard then center. He hasn’t been surrounded by stellar talent at psu at IOL, nor at QB, which can make his performance seem worse than it is. Base in their performance at PSU, I thought he was better than McGovern, and almost as good as Bates. I think he will be a 5-7 rnd pick, but stick a long time in the nfl.
  21. Bills need to give spencer brown at leas 2 more years to see if he can be successful at RT. He’s young, has elite athleti traits (RAS>9), and just the right amt of mean attitude. but he doesn’t have experience. Malcolm Gladwell wrote a book about exceptional athletes, writers, artists, craftsman. He concluded that you needed to spend 10,000 hours at a vocation before you’re truly elite. True for shooting free throw, playing Mozart, or a journey cover band. Brown didn’t play OL in high school, only 2 years in college, now starting year 3 with Bills. Let’s say he practices tackle movements 2 hr per day n college and 4 hour per day in nfl. So that’s 1440 college hrs. The back injur really set him back, so hee only got about 4 hr x 400d in nfl or 1600. So his total is now 3440 hrs, give or take a few. If he works out full time for next 2 years—700 d x 4 hr, he will be at 6200 total hour, within spitting range of 10000
  22. Gotta say this is a moronic comment. Do stop watches run slower in Iowa? Do rulers measure differently in Iowa? This guy has a good 40 time and elite explosion numbers. Im not saying this guy is as good as Brian Urlacher, but he’s similar size with BETTER testing numbers. https://nflcombineresults.com/playerpage.php?i=4756 Note—Im not making this comp because they’re both white guys. Im making this comp because they are both tall athletic MLB, and Urlacher was the prototype for ideal MLB in a Cover 2.
  23. Is that the Casa do Pizza that used to be on the corner of Hodge and Elmwood?
  24. I’m agreeing with Kiva here. I grew up in Tonawanda, left in 1968. Never heard of Buffalo wings at the time. Moved back in 1983. Wings and pizza were popular with my happy hour crowd. I heard the anchor bar story then. I’ve heard the frank and Theresa anchor bar story a billion times since. I’ve never heard about this Young guy until this thread. I’m not saying it’s wrong, but I’d like to see a bit more evidence than a history channel special before I believe it.
  25. First time I’ve ever heard someone complain about wings being too big.
