  1. A lot of talent there. Hoping they use their extra picks to get 2 seconds or just more day 2 picks. It’s the offensive sweet spot in this class.
  2. No thank you, kicking/punting adds complexity and more strategy to the game. I'm not interested in watching teams go 4 and out on their own 25 and watch the other team slap 100 points on the other team because they get to start on their 25 every other possession.
  3. Everybody else is getting bigger contracts, why should we be surprised to see a kicker get more money? Especially when he can hit a 60 yd kick.
  4. I strongly disagree about Poyer and Hyde. They are difference/game changers. They may not be top 5 safeties but they are certainly game changers. With a better pass rush I expect them to get closer to the 10 combined interceptions they had in 2017. Also, Milano has to be counted as a game changer. After his injury, the defense fell apart. The defense was a different animal with him out there and in my book, that’s the definition of a game changer. Tremaine hasn’t earned the game changer title yet. I believe he will but you’re giving it to him and not any of these three? Also giving it to Dawkins over these three? You’ve lost me. A game changer title is earned not given to somebody because they have potential. How do you define a game changer?
  5. It doesn’t matter if the fans see it, the coaching staff needs to see it. I trust them to make the right decisions
  6. That’s what training camp and preseason is for. Show up in shape and look sharp and they won’t be moved but always look to acquire assets instead of just cutting players.
  7. Completely disagree. The position keeps evolving as do all of them. Pass rush up the middle is just as important as it is from the edge. Pass rushing 3techs can still destroy a game plan. Ask the Rams how they feel about the DT position. A penetrating DT can be more distruptive than an edge player, especially a guy with an explosive player like Oliver.
  8. Except Aaron Donald was the most disruptive defensive lineman last season. It’s not about position but impact. Position really doesn’t matter at the line, what the player brings to the table does.
  9. So what if Nsekhe is 34, can't he start one year and we find a new starter next year? The guy doesn't have a lot of wear and tear on his body, he is a monstrously sized tackle that can hold it down for this year. We have other needs too, no need to reach. Who is playing the 3 tech on the line? That's a big question mark. We need a more dominant pass rushing presence and Oliver could be that option. Devin White would be hard to pass up pairing with Milano and Edmunds. Just take the best player.
  10. Just because it turned out okay for one person doesn’t mean it will for another. Each case is different and must be treated as such.
  11. They still want to fill the roster with draft picks, more quality chances at that are better.
  12. The President is still a very important figure in his demeanor. If you have a guy that pushes hate and lies, what do you think the American people are going to do? Too many uneducated people in this country that are played like puppets.
  13. I consider him a top 5 MLB and he went to a perfect fit. How is he limited in your eyes?
  14. Bernie Sanders, no super pacs, been in and around politics decades. The candidate was there but America is just blind in their loyalty to their party. He stands up for every group in this country, maybe we will wake up and see what needs to be done and stop being so greedy. Only way we have a chance to unify. That being said, there are a lot of unintelligent people in this country due to our school system. College is grossly expensive and has dug a massive financial hole for so many. Greed wins again.
  15. 3 year 21 million dollar deal for a tackle is nothing. Salary cap went up, contracts will all go up. Look at what Trent Brown got. Daryl Williams is about to get an astronomical contract too but that's what happens when the cap goes up.
  16. The problem is people are choosing one side or the other like it's a football team. Loyalty no matter how terrible the candidate is. There are so few level-headed people that can look at our situation and understand what we need to get out of this divided angry state we are in as a country. Vote for the best candidate, plain and simple. No super pacs, no figurehead President garbage. And greed and money have created a society with people not understanding our real problems for the human race. Why open the thread?
  17. That's the entire problem and it absolutely matters. Politics need to change and stop being run by large corporations that are smashing small businesses and our climate into the ground. Politics need to change, no large corporations swaying votes and no inexperience bs presidents who are profiteering their own businesses while in office lol.
  18. Keuchly was signed when the salary cap was much lower. With the cap hike, there will be larger contracts moving forward. How come fans can't comprehend this? Keuchly would be signed for way more than this right now if he was a free agent.
  19. Not when he lied about his net worth and is President now. Still don't know how that happened. Can't get most jobs without experience, I guess President doesn't apply.
  20. Except in 3 years this won't be considered an overpay. The salary cap goes up and so does player salaries. It's not extra money for teams, it's more money for players. There will be a lot of top paying contracts this year because of the large cap hike and if it happens again, we will see these contracts be buried. Why is this so hard to understand for some fans?
  21. We were very thin at the CB position and experience there is important. Why is everyone getting so upset over Gore? A future hall of fame player that brings more than just his talent to the table. He rushed for 722 yards with a 4.6 yds/carry average last year. It doesn't bar us from drafting a running back and was only 2 million. A rookie can learn from two future hall of famers. Running back by committee has been used by New England for several years. I think people just like to complain. They made 4 solid moves on day one and fans were complaining the whole day. Kroft is being brought in to block first and has upside as a receiver. We had zero blocking tight ends on the roster. They may draft their receiving tight end for Allen, deep draft in that area.
