  1. He's a junior but if he has a first round grade I think he'd come out. Right now he is rising up the boards
  2. That's all part of the business. Draft their replacements and sign what you can.
  3. Have you watched the Pats defense play this year? They are beatable. I've seen swiss cheese with less holes
  4. Completely agree about Roquan Smith. Might even see him use one of our 3rd or 4th round picks to get another fast linebacker in the building. Three young fast linebackers in front of an underrated secondary who can make plays would be exciting
  5. But why would Peterman or drafting a QB hurt? More competition at the games most important position to me, isn't a bad thing. Load up the offense with weapons in the offseason and let the QBs compete. Let's get better at every position instead of being okay with what we have. Tyrod has most certainly flashed in some games and if, with a new set of weapons he wins the competition, he can be the guy. But the offense has been too inconsistent for me. You can blame the o-line or the running game but franchise QBs rise above a struggling run game. We can see how it plays out but I haven't seen enough consistency from Tyrod to be comfortable with what we have at QB. Maybe it's his weapons? We shall see
  6. Do you see him as a guard or a Tackle moving forward? Because we have the depth at tackle as of right now with Henderson back. I know a mid-season switch is less than ideal but I think he is a guard moving forward. Why not switch him and give him more experience now so he has some before next season? Might just be me wanting to see the youngster take over a position on the line and cement it but I think there is some potential there.
  7. Agreed. Intrigued to see who he decides to grab at the Linebacker position in the draft with all the picks we have. I'm sure it'll be along the same type of skill-set. He can get his guy at linebacker this year and fill some of the other glaring holes.
  8. The AFC East crown is up for grabs, someone has to just take it from New England.
  9. What about Zo on the other side? Did he look better than Milano last week and does he make you confident in his coverage skills in the pass happy league that we are in?
  10. He looks to be strong enough to hold up on the inside as well. Now that Henderson is back, maybe we could start Dawkins as the RG and let Henderson play swing tackle. If it all works out maybe they can release Ducasse and have Miller as depth on the inside? Just an idea. Who knows maybe that sticks. But I like what I've seen so far from the rookie, not easy to jump in at LT in your first season in the NFL against the talented D-lines they have faced so far.
  11. I think our problem has been that we throw our rookie QBs into the fire too early and don't give them a chance to learn the behind the scenes stuff first. Then, they can just let the game come to them. Have them get used to the NFL for a year and then say let's see what ya got. This is a unique opportunity for Buffalo to give a young QB as many weapons as they want with all the draft picks they have.
  12. I don't know I think a few more games of solid play from Milano would convince the coaching staff to give him a starting spot. Why not? He is the type of linebacker that McDermott likes in his scheme. I think his ceiling is around Kiko Alonso's abilities. I think he is the first piece to the linebacker core that McDermott wants. If he can keep his play up, you can't tell me he wouldn't be an upgrade over Zo's lackluster coverage skills. And I would love to see him blitz, a guy of that speed could wreak havoc in the backfield if used properly and we know that McDermott knows how to utilize fast linebackers. I expect another big week from him against the Raiders.
  13. They still might have the opportunity as quarterbacks fall every year. This year we grabbed a guy in the 5th that might have more talent than that.
  14. Matt seems like he's taken advantage of his opportunity and if he keeps playing like this and improving with each game, he may stick around as a starter and replace Alexander on the other side. His speed has been quite noticeable compared to our other linebackers and he's shown he has the potential to be a very solid linebacker. Could potentially a nice find late in the 2017 draft.
  15. If you read the novel, I consider him an option. Personally, haven't seen enough of him to be convinced either way. But is more competition a bad thing?
  16. I think Dawkins should be given a shot at right guard. I thought he pulled well on that play.
  17. Forgive me for being excited about the future of this team and wanting to see where everyone stands. Just haven't been this excited in a few years that's all.
  18. Apologies, first post and I forgot that I had to do that haha
  19. With the offensive line a piece or two away from being one of the better lines in the league, a couple of solid receiving tight ends, potentially Jordan Mathews re-signs if a pretty good throwing QB was to sign, a rookie wide out that will improve with time, an all-pro running back and a solid defense with what I feel has been the best coached season by a Buffalo Coach in some time, does Buffalo have enough to real in a Kirk Cousins off of the street? Certainly, right now Cousins would scoff at our lack of receiving options but what if we could present him with an offer it'd be tough to decline. What if Buffalo told Cousins they would address the receiving weapons in the draft and another in the free agent market? They certainly have the draft picks to spend on some young athletic weapons for whoever their Quarterback will be in 2018. The frosting on top of the cake is that they have enough draft picks to fix a majority of the wholes on both the offense and the defense. 3 draft picks on each side of the ball in the first three rounds is certainly an option. Say the Bills drafted a first round wide out and a mid round wide out, grab a tackle early in the draft and allows Dawkins to move inside and replace miller or be the eventual replacement for Incognito if Miller turns things around, draft another running back in a draft that will have a lot of talented backs, maybe one in the third round? This will give Lesean a break and maybe stretch out his career by lightening the load a little, and sign Jordan Mathews or another quality wide out. Would that be enough to grab a quarterback like Cousins? Could be an interesting option. I am in the camp of drafting a Quarterback in the first round this year without trading up so we can fill in some of the roster wholes with McDermott guys and have a first round talented quarterback who may not be ready to play in the NFL just yet. I think drafting a Quarterback later in the first round and letting them sit behind Tyrod Taylor for a year could be just the thing for what a rookie Quarterback from this year's class needs. Personally, I like Josh Allen's abilities. Just needs some talent around him to show off that cannon of an arm he has and more experience. Let your young receivers develop another year and get acclimated to the NFL then put in the potential future franchise QB. Also, it'd give them enough time to fill in a few of the wholes on defense. To me this is the best option with any QB they draft. Peterman flashed in preseason a little. There's a small crowd chanting for him to replace Tyrod this season. He has a good amount of potential for a 5th round pick. I'd let Tyrod play out the year and then put in Peterman so he can learn behind Tyrod for a year have more weapons after next year. Or we could stay the course with Tyrod for the next few seasons. The Bills are in a situation where they have options, more options than they've had in a long time. Let's hope whatever direction they go finds us the next Buffalo QB to lead the Bills back to the Super Bowl. I'm very intrigued and excited for the future of this team under the new regime. It's hard not to love being a Bills fan so far this season.
  20. I listen to all music. Been to classic rock, country, rap, pop and other concerts but I would hate a country concert at the super bowl, especially George Strait. I want something to get me amped up not prepare me to get lowered into a coffin. It's football haha. Loved Lady Gaga, she was dancing, singing, had a great inclusive message and overall just did a nice job. She grabbed a lot of different audiences with her song choices. Strait is not a performer, not gonna dance, not gonna blow anyone away singing. Personally, I'd turn the tv off and talk with my company than listen to him. Too old. Need something modern, not from when you were a kid. Gaga was great because she was in her prime.
