  1. Well he’s been a blocking tight end with few opportunities that is surprisingly fast and can catch the ball. For a team like Buffalo who can’t draw all the best prospects in, we have to take some chances. Here’s a guy with upside, can you coach him up and give him some opportunities with Allen. Looks like a decent red zone target.
  2. Why don't fans understand that with the cap space jumping up, players will be paid more? Obviously deals are going to be very inflated this year but that will continue to rise if the cap keeps going up.
  3. I guess the entire offseason is already over and Beane didn't add a single player to our team. Antonio Brown was a unique situation. He very obviously didn't want to be in the city of Buffalo, end of discussion. Patience is a virtue my friend. Take a breath and drink some water. Haven't even gotten to signing period yet lol. Offseason anticipation disease has set into a lot of fans and has for months. Don't worry the wait is almost over haha. Getting this ridiculous over a handful of moves so far is just a classic Buffalo fan response. You do realize there are 1,700 players in the league and trades happen all the way up through past september right? Can we get some level-headed fans up in here please.
  4. I’d do this and then add an edge rusher in the middle rounds to learn before Hughes enters his last year. I think that’s the reason they want to add a rusher in a unique way, they know a top DT is going to fall and they are going to take them and create the defensive havoc upfront that McDermotts system relies on.
  5. I'd rather take a hard swing at Daryl Williams who is 26 and should be entering the prime of his career. If not, find a moderate free agent or bring Mills back and take a swing in the draft.
  6. I'm sure it does but to be able to keep all of the picks...that'd be something. 20th is still a pretty good spot in this draft. Great spot to pick offensive lineman or a tight end...
  7. If that's the case, I'd be thrilled to keep most of our picks. I'll swap and day haha. This is a deep class of talent. That would be the best case scenerio IMO.
  8. If they were able to keep their 1st this year and give up something like their 2nd and a 3rd, I'd be wagging that 9th pick in everyones face to trade back and recover some of the picks.
  9. I think the Steelers would demand a 1. His situation did indeed lower his value but he's still arguably the best receiver in the NFL. Tough to say. I'd love to keep all of our 1st but who knows.
  10. If we get Brown, that opens major doors for other players in free agency to come here. He could jump on the recruiting train and load this team up.
  11. I don't think he would give that up obviously but when was the last time the best receiver was traded? In 2019, I don't know what kind of compensation that requires, especially in this weird situation.
  12. What kind of compensation do you have to give up to get perhaps the best receiver in the NFL? Hoping it's not multiple firsts but look what Oakland got for Mack...
  13. You definitely should have. There are too many posters here that type stupidity and believe/defend it.
  14. Except in recent years, tight ends who can catch are the biggest mismatches on the field. I can throw a couple of corners on some receivers, who are you gonna put on a 6’6” tight end that can run fast?
  15. It still amazes me that fans don’t grasp the concept that an increase in team cap =players averaging a higher salary. Free agents are about to get larger contracts and yet if you compare it to baseball, it’s still considerably lower. Why are people surprised?
  16. Can't have nobody going into the draft or they would be desperate and have zero leverage in any trade scenario.
  17. Okay, have you looked at the class? It's much deeper than just 3-4 guys. I simply think that the wide receiver position has it's best value rounds 2-4. I don't see many WRs that are talented enough to be drafted at 9 and due to the depth of the class, I see many being available to us in the rounds I suggested.
  18. The second round is one of the sweet spots in this class for getting a solid WR. I'd rather take whatever top talent falls to us at 9 and grab a WR in the second. A second round receiver and a fourth round receiver or a trade back up into the third would be the ideal spots to take a receiver in this class IMO.
  19. Good move by the Giants if indeed it is true. Sure Odell is a solid player but his price tag is too high and his attitude is too extra. The team is also not very good. It's not like they are a contender. They need more talent everywhere and this is a very good draft class for wide receivers. It's not always a bad thing when teams trade away a talent like Odell.
  20. No need to add weight or give him a defined position. He played the DT position on some third downs last year. His technique gives him an advantage. I'm sure he will be used wherever we need him. His versatility will be really important. McDermott is all about finding more players that can play multiple positions on the defense. It helps with disguising packages.
  21. At the end of the day, it's entertainment. Does it really matter in our lives, no. Step back and see the bigger picture. So why can't we watch a game where we root for another team or better yet, root for both of the teams that are playing? I want to see a good game, that's why I'm watching, entertain me. Everyone is different. If you are a competitive me-vs-you type of person, you are probably on the side of being a Bills fan only. If you look at it as entertainment and don't have the need to be competitive, then every team in the league can be interesting to watch. As I get older, however, I find myself pulling away from the sport because of what it has shown itself to be. Many more important things to do in this life than to just be a Bills fan.
  22. They are looking for coachable players to put into their system.
