  1. I've always agreed with this as well. I've always found divisions kind of pointless. Like technically I've always looked at it as, let's say one team in a division wins the division at 10-6 but they go 0-6 against divisional opponents and let's say another team in the division goes 6-10 but 6-0 in the division. Wouldn't you say at that point that the 6-10 team actually won that division since they won all division games? Obviously, I'm not saying that the 6-10 team should make the playoffs, but how do you call a team that went 0-6 in their division as division champs? I get they have the better record of the two teams but it makes no sense. I've always felt like for playoff purposes that the teams with the top 6 records in each conference should make it. Divisions shouldn't even matter in all that. So that means if you have a 9-7 team in the 7th spot in each conference and there's a division winner at 8-8 that the 9-7 team would basically take that teams spot which they deserve based on having the better record. That's why divisions should be eliminated
  2. Same here. I always feel like an outsider when I watch people dip their wings in ranch and bleu cheese. I just simply don't get it. It defeats the purpose of eating the wings. Like you said, give me wings with a ton of sauce and I'm good
  3. Lol. Yeah, I caught on lol. As soon as I saw it I was cracking up. It was no wonder I never found that guy in the employee directory ?
  4. So, I actually have a funny story about your username. This is so weird that we kind of thought the same way about it. At one of my past jobs, the company would send out emails everyday about random things. Our email addresses were first name, last name and then @ the name of the company. A lot of them use to say "donotreply" and then etc, etc, etc. The company was a decent size of about 300 people and it was all on one floor in one giant room so everyone knew who each was. One day I'm sitting at work and we were getting bombarded with these emails. So, I turn to my co-workers and I say "Does anyone know who this Don Otreply guy is and why he keeps sending these emails?" Everyone around me just stared at me for a few seconds and were like "what do you mean, Don Otreply?" One of my coworkers came to my desk and looked and then he bursted out laughing and then once everyone around me realized what I was talking about they did the same. That's when I found out it meant "Do Not Reply". I thought I was the only one who saw it as Don Otreply which is what got me when I saw your username
  5. Yes, this was exactly my view as well. Sal was saying that you should never say it's ok to lose but I agree with Howard that I don't expect them to win this game. I'm hopeful and think it's possible they can but I don't expect it. And as fans we can look ahead anyway. The most important part is that the players don't look ahead and we shock the nation on Sunday
  6. So, I have Todd Gurley and he has been disappointing. I also drafted Antonio Brown and we all know what happened there. So now I'm looking for WR help and I just got offered Tyreek Hill who is currently.out but will be back in a few weeks and Matt Breida for Todd Gurley. Would you take this? Not sure how to feel about it. I like the idea that I'd basically be replacing Brown with Hill but Breida I'm not too sure about.
  7. How many snaps did Oliver play yesterday? I feel like I saw Jordan Phillip's in there more
  8. Don't know who Danielle is but Daniel played well
  9. It's kind of expected that we are going to lose to the Pats twice every year anyway. I usually go into each season kind of already making us 0-2 in those games and hoping for a wildcard. I know I shouldn't but it's reality. Having said that, I'd rather have the playoff win by far. We haven't won a playoff game since the 1995 season. I was 9 years old at the time. I forgot what that feels like lol. We've also only been to the playoffs 4 times since then with an 18 year gap from one playoff game to another. Get me the playoff win
  10. ESPN needs to use the old Sunday Night Football crew for their Monday Night games. Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann and Paul McGuire. Paul McGuire is probably in his 80's by now but man, Mike Patrick used to make even the most boring and uninteresting games exciting back in the day during those Sunday Night games
  11. I don't remember that game at all. I know we beat them in 2010 which was the Stevie Johnson "Why so serious" game. We lost to them in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017. I just looked it up on wikipedia and now I do remember it lol. But one time in the last 5. They play us tough
  12. I think we have lost like 5 straight to the Bengals. They always seem to play us tough. I'm just happy this is a home game and our home opener because that crowd is going to be insane on Sunday.
  13. You think your shack looks good? You should see mine. It has all my pool gear in the winter and looks really nice when I put my snowblower in during the spring. I usually try to make sure I keep it looking as nice as I can. I can take pictures to show you my shack looks better
  14. That was when the injury first happened
  15. That's why they released Duke and Cam Phillips. They wear 82 and 87. Can't have those numbers on their WRs
  16. I forgot about Roberts lol. Nevermind
  17. So, we've only kept 5 WRs?
  18. I know. I mean the fact that Duke was cut before them is mind boggling
  19. It boggles my mind how as of right now Cam Phillips and David Sills are still on the roster but Duke is gone. It makes no sense
  20. There's a difference in being a big contributor and being the lead back. I think he was more than ready to be the a major contributor for this offense just not the top dog in the backfield and taking 20-25 carries a game. Right now, I see him as a 10-15 "touch" a game guy. I think now it's maybe a small concern because obviously we have no choice with Shady gone but it's not a big concern if he was still here.
  21. I just don't think he is ready for lead back duties as of right now. I think he was more than ready to handle the role that we seen him have in preseason for this season. You're basically implying that it's a concern for what? He's a 3rd round rookie. It doesn't mean he's never gonna be ready. It just means I don't believe that he can handle lead back duties right now
  22. The thing I don't like about this move is that I'm not entirely convinced that Singletary is ready as of right now and I think it would have been beneficial to have him be here with Shady and Gore for a year before taking over. Shady was a team player in my opinion. He cared about the team and wanted help this team as much as he could. It makes no sense having Gore here without him especially since McCoy had a part in having Gore brought here
  23. I do think it will be Sills but could also be Cam Philips who hasn't been cut yet
  24. I don't know if he will but if he does, some other team can just easily pluck him off the practice squad. I don't like this cut at all
  25. I have never really understood the obsession with keeping certain players strictly because of special teams. It makes no sense to cut a guy that has a skill set at WR that no one else has on the roster which he has shown in the preseason and can possibly make a difference on offense to keep a guy that's only on the field on kickoff and punt returns. Am I missing something?
