  1. Flutie was a turnover machine? He had a couple games where he threw multiple picks but you make it sound like he was turning the ball over all over the field. He threw 16 INTs. Tons of QBs today throw that like it's nothing. I don't know how you could have watched what he did in 98 and even the 5 games he started in 2000 where he went 4-1 as a starter and say that he wasn't very good. He was the last QB to take us to the playoffs back to back years before no other QB could do it for nearly 20 years. He didn't have a great season in 99 but without him, we don't get to the playoffs that year
  2. Rob Johnson couldn't be a full time starter because he sucked. He was outplayed by Flutie all 3 years they were both here together. And your post about how we couldn't beat the Rams because of 16 points. If you remember correctly the Rams vs Titans Super Bowl was 16-16 in the 4th quarter before Warner hit Isaac Bruce for the ling TD. The Rams only scored 23 points. We had the number 1 defense in the league. It was better than the Titans. If they could hold them to 16 until the last quarter and 23 points total, I'm not sure why we couldn't do the same If you want to say Flutie was mediocre which I would still say is slightly wrong, then yes, I will agree with you. No person in their right mind would ever say that Flutie was awful. He was the last QB to take us to the playoffs for nearly 20 years
  3. Rob Johnson sucked big time. That was clearly evident. You're pointing out a couple of decent games he had. It's amazing to me how all the Flutie haters seem to make Rob Johnson sound like he was a good QB. He was awful.
  4. He's not freaking perfect. We also got screwed out of an Andre Reed TD in that game. Without Flutie we aren't even playing in that game. We started 0-3 and he turned the season around for us. We made the playoffs that year because of him. Yeah, he fumbled the last play of the game. That could have happened to Peyton Manning. Flutie was a good QB for us. He was a team guy, not a me guy. One other guy in this post talked about how he divided the locker room, how? He got screwed over in the Titans playoff game and I honestly think if he plays that game that we go to the Super Bowl with the number 1 defense and beat the Rams
  5. It looks like now I have no choice but to watch that game. Would have like the 49ers vs Saints game as the other game though
  6. So, that Miami game was Flutie's fault because he fumbled at the end? How about Eric Moulds's fumble on the first play of the game. It might not have come down to that at the last second if Moulds doesn't fumble. Seriously? I will never understand the Flutie hate
  7. Am I reading that right? Instead of 49ers vs Saints we are only getting Chargers vs Jaguars at 4pm on fox? Outside of the Chiefs vs Patriots game
  8. It's not a shorter week. It was a 6 day difference either way. It's only a 6 hour difference. No difference if it was a Monday night game and we were playing again on Sunday. It's the same amount of time
  9. I think one of the things that helps us in this game is that we have 10 days rest to prepare. The Ravens have to study two different opponents this week since they have a Thursday night game against the Jets in week 15. The fact that they have to study two different opponents takes a little bit of their focus off of our game. The fact that this game is at home as well is big
  10. I keep seeing people saying this. How exactly does it interfere with our preparation for the Patriots? Is there really any difference if it was played Sunday at 1pm? It's literally a 7 hour difference. It's the same amount of time a team that plays on Monday night has to turn around and play a team on Sunday. No difference
  11. It's unreal, isn't it? First one in 12 years and people are complaining that it's not Sunday at 1pm like our last 7,000 games have been
  12. Most people hate it mainly because they don't want to stay up late. It's one game. You should see some of the whiners on twitter saying the same thing. I'm glad they're happy watching the Cowboys five times a year on Sunday night football. I'm sick of it
  13. So you have to stay up later. Big whoop. We haven't had a SNF game in 12 years and people are whining about it. Who cares? Good teams get primetime games. The better we get, the more it's gonna happen. Get used to it
  14. The Cowboys are going to have their 5th primetime game of the year next Thursday against the Bears. Teams are only allowed to be on primetime a maximum of 5 times a year. They can't flex the Cowboys game to Sunday night. I'm tired of seeing the Cowboys in Primetime anyway
  15. They are just skinny behind. That's why they haven't been eliminated yet. Just give them another week or two of fattening up and they'll be done
  16. Here's what I want to know. What would have happened on the first down play had the Cowboys had gotten to the 5 yard line? Or to the original spot that they put the first down marker? Would they have given them a first down? Or said, "oh damn, our bad. The first down marker is in the wrong spot. It's supposed to be at the 4. So, you're short. Sorry". You don't move a marker in the middle of a play sequence. That's ridiculous
  17. Number 1 priority if I'm head coach, put 9 in the box every single play to stop Zeke. Let Dak beat you. Tre can take away Cooper but I'm still 100% focusing on Zeke. If we contain Zeke then I think we win
  18. This game should get flexed to Sunday night. The Rams vs Seahawks doesn't look anywhere near as appealing. The Rams are obviously having issues. The Bills are gonna be at worst 8-4 going in and the Ravens at worst 9-3. That should be the game to move
  19. I hate the way the NFL puts so much emphasis on the market for their Primetime games. I don't watch Sunday Night Football because its the Seahawks and Rams or the Cowboys and whoever. I watch it because its football. I don't care who's playing and I honestly don't think most fans do either. I'm tired of seeing the same teams play Primetime night games 4 or 5 times a season. That's actually worse in my opinion. Look at the Bears, they get multiple Primetime games a year and every time I think about watching Mitch Trubisky, I cringe
  20. I still would rather have the Ravens game be the Sunday nighter. The Bills possibly being 9-3 and the Ravens possibly being 10-2. I don't see how that isn't the game of the week.
  21. Great, let's sign him to get some insider information. Oh wait....that was last week. Nevermind
  22. I do think no matter little league team is out there that we will dominate them. High school on up? I'm not so sure
  23. I think it's possible our week 15 game against the Steelers could be flexed depending on where the Steelers are at that point. Right now they currently have Vikings at Chargers but the Chargers will more than likely be out of it by that point. The only two other games I can see them flexing that week are Seahawks vs Panthers or Bears at Packers. The Rams and Cowboys play that week but the Cowboys would have reached their 5 primetime game limit by then having already had 4 and I believe they still have a Thursday night game coming up after Thanksgiving. I don't see what market size has to do with it. It's the NFL, people are gonna watch. I watch every week regardless. I don't watch because the Cowboys are playing.
  24. Does that include the Ravens?
