  1. In a follow up question, he said that KC offered the best deal.
  2. Which is what Beane said.
  3. Beane said they had more players with 2nd round grades than 1st round grades. He didn't try to move up in the first because he didn't want to give up his 2nd round pick this year or mortgage next year's picks.
  4. Except they would have upgraded that position anyway.
  5. Yes but we still moved from 133 to 95. That is not insignificant.
  6. Don't look at that average and use that as your evaluation. Plus...it's merely a comparison of the Bills e v a l of Shakir vs KC's e v a l of Skye Moore. Still...look at what Shakir did late in the season and in the playoffs.
  7. Okay. We don't trade down with the Chiefs. We pass on Worthy. And they draft him at 32 anyway. OH...we sure showed them!!!! We did get fair market value using the draft charts. Happy Days did the computation.
  8. 4 picks different than if the Bills would not have traded their 3rd rounder for Rasul. It's still a 3rd rounder. You're grasping at straws.
  9. And Beane drafted Khalil Shakir in the 5th round in that same draft as Sky Moore was drafted by the Chiefs in the 2nd.
  10. They obviously did not have a first round grade on any players left on their board. Beane always talks value.
  11. We are not allocating our picks to the Chiefs. We traded back because we likely didn't have first round grades left on any players. Do we take Worthy to spite the Chiefs even though the Bills didn't want a 165 lb WR??? I don't think they made the move to save money. It's simply a practical bonus. We moved back because of value...and we improved our draft position in the lower rounds. We now have three picks tomorrow night instead of one.
  12. Not an extra pick...but we did move up significantly. Plus...according to WGR and Sal, we save $2.5 M on the cap.
  13. Doing it the way they did it, according to Sal...they just saved $2.5 million off the cap.
  14. We moved into the 3rd...not the 6th.
  15. Okay...so the Bills don't trade and KC takes Worthy at 32 because the Bills obviously weren't going to take him.
  16. Folks...think this through. The Bills obviously were not going to take Worthy. It's likely he would have fallen to the Chiefs anyway and the Bills get a 3rd rounder in the process.
  17. I guess they're sitting the 2025 draft out.
  18. They could do the sensible thing and go OT.
  19. Or the Jets lied and said they were entertaining offers.
  20. Everyone that is upset with Beane...he can't force a trade! All of the pundits reporting that teams are open for business...don't know jack. Unless we're talking trades the magnitude of Draft Day! People, get real.
