  1. Not me. Bell is not a team player and he wants way more money that would tie up too much cap space. There are always plenty of good RB's available in the draft. Also...ex-Steeler offensive players never seem to do all that great on other teams.
  2. If that's the case, they're better off going to the Steelers and getting Bell.
  3. That makes sense. I just don't see any other rational reason for keeping him. He is clearly just a practice type player, but when real bullets fly, he's not ready for prime time.
  4. People will surprise you.
  5. Couldn't have happened to a nicer, classier guy.
  6. Manusky looks like he's cussing.
  7. I actually thought the Chargers were foolish letting him walk. I thought it was brilliant for them to draft LT and Brees in back to back rounds. And another solid draft pick the Bills let walk. We have Haushka now so I feel better.
  8. Brees is so good. To think he almost became a Dolphin. We would have faced him and Brady twice a year.
  9. KB is inflicting pain. Holmes is inflicting pain. Yolo is simply envious of other teams.
  10. Yes. The resemblance is there...though I don't expect Gruden would look good in tights.
  11. Exactly. Moreso the way he looked in Twister, since he was older and more filled out.
  12. Every time I see Gruden I think of Cary Elwes from Princess Bride and Twister.
  13. I know. Why can't we have nice things?
  14. I agree with you to a point. With some players...those that can change the complexion of one side of the ball...QB or MLB...that are coveted by the teams picking ahead of you, it is necessary to move up and spend the picks. (e.g. Allen and Edmunds) That's why it was imperative for Buffalo to acquire the additional draft capital for this year's draft. I hear where you're coming from, though, and by and large don't think it should be done for players where there is a lot of draft depth (e.g. Sammy Watkins).
  15. That was Allen's life at Wyoming. He had no supporting cast and had to win ball games any way HE could. Part of his development is to unlearn that. Keep the drive. Keep the strong will to win. Keep the heart. Lose that it's all on you. Joe B is the one who has pushed this question and narrative. He posted it in his column and talked about it in his newscast last night. You can see how Josh is learning and developing game to game. It's one lesson at a time (get the ball out quicker, throw it away if there's nothing there, etc)...but it is development.
  16. Happy Birthday! Glad the Bills gifted you with a win. ?
  17. Considering their D gave up 31 points, probably made the call easier.
  18. It's possible that they wanted to bring him in earlier, but Anderson may have not wanted to sign right away, to see what other options might develop.
  19. Well even though not drafting Watson or Mahomes looks like an epic failure, at least the Pegulas learned to not meddle and let the guys they hired to run the team make the decisions. There's a traditional hierarchy here now.
  20. Russ really screwed things up. Wasn't it rumored that Whaley wanted Hue Jackson as HC? We would have kept Schwartz at DC. Instead we hired Rex, Schwartz left...and it was all downhill from there.
  21. They also want folks to purchase Sunday ticket or subscribe to the service at NFL. com.
  22. They can, but they rarely if ever got it, at least in the 28 years I was there. It especially bothered a lot of fans when they requested viewing of the Steelers vs Browns games, since that was 90% of the viewer fan base. I left in 2014 so I don't know if things have changed much. The NFL made some changes to blackout rules in the past few years, so maybe they softened the viewing contracts as well...although I believe, since they were in Buffalo's market, the Bills would have to agree.
  23. Let's hope. He certainly played well against the Pats.
