I'm cool with this on the condition we get rid of Dennison. It's obvious his scheme doesn't mix with Tyrod's play style.

Bengals because common opponents. We'd be in the 5th seed above Ravens. That game was completely winnable and we had the turnovers to do it.

I never trusted his bare hands but I haven't seen him drop an easy catch yet so I'm all for it. But I do think Clay is way better to have out there for his YAC. When O'Leary catches a ball that's usually where it ends up. Definitely a good guy to have in there a few times per drive to throw them off a little.

We don't need the Pats game as much as we need the Miami game. They would have to play out of their minds while Brady also has the worst game of his career or an injury and maybe we have an outside shot. But Week 17 at Miami will be the make-or-break game to me.

Seems to me our best shot is Titans lose out (Rams, Jags) and Chargers lose Week 17 to Raiders. I just can't see Bengals or Colts beating Baltimore.

Lines are funny. If you came to me afterward and said the Bills lost by 13 points, or they lost 30-17 or something like that it's like "well yeah I can see that". But a 12.5 line is somehow not in the realm of reality.

So do we now root for the Titans to win tomorrow?

This is a good exercise on zen. Enjoy it and don't worry about it because who knows which outcome actually helps.

We lose this week vs. Miami at home But then everyone else in the hunt loses as well. 8-8 might just get in We lose to the Pats as usual. A win in Miami might just be enough. An 8-8 team will get in as the #6. Everyone does the advanced calculus required and we need about 3 games to go a specific way but it's possible. We lose anyway and go 7-9. Later on, come to find out a win wouldn't have mattered anyway as the other games panned out wrong but Bills fans still complain 6 months later that a win would've gotten them in.

That's really not true. There is a clear path to playoffs at 9-7 and it doesn't require crazy **** like Browns beating Ravens. It's fairly realistic IF the Bills can do their part.

I don't think we'll really know who we should've been rooting for until everyone's played this weekend. It's such a messed up situation every way I look at it. Titans should take care of the 49ers but if they don't and lose out we may be facing only one other team. Then you got the Chiefs against the Dolphins next week which is a tossup. If the Ravens drop one it throws another wrench into things. I guess at this point I'm gonna root for the Bills and hope for the best. That's the one game that really matters.
