He did what football coaches do...hired a guy because he knew him..certainly can't be solely based on past success. Maybe he should have taken the Daboll route with many of his hires....you know actually look outside the box.

Judging by how in demand he was when FA hit I'd expect a huge return.

Not sure what Watkins did wrong aside from injuries he couldn't help and drawing attention that no receive on this roster can command.

They draft Manuel and follow that up with Woods in round 2 and Goodwin in round 3. Give your young QB a chance to grow with young weapons. They also had an offensive line that was competent under Gailey and 2 running backs that were very good. This year they draft Allen, had no 2nd round picks with that move, trade the pick at the top of round 3 so they can move up for a LB. They then use their other 3rd round pick on a DT and wait until round 6 to draft a gadget receiver. O line in shambles and pick a 30 year old Chris Ivory to complement McCoy. They should have put McDermotts defensive ego aside and gotten this kid some targets to grow with and a line to block for when he eventually plays THIS SEASON.

These names are a joke. Good job neglecting the offense this offseason. The same off season you draft the "franchise" QB.

You are not allow to raise valid points about how this offseason was a joke. And it all began with jumping the gun on 2 over the hill vets..Davis and Ivory.

As I've said this isn't exactly the most analytical staff around. They bring in who they know...regardless of performance.

Another bad move. They totally jumped the gun on him and Ivory before free agency even started. Yes I mean the Colts benched him last year....and they weren't exactly the 85 Bears.

This is a bad football team with inferior talent and an horrible first off season under Beane Vontae Davis can't play anymore. Trent Murphy...need I say more? Offensive Line neglected Receiving corps neglected Allen and Edmunds are huge risks Traded too many draft picks when the roster is in the shape it's in

What a masterful job McD and Beane have done building this roster.

Edmunds has been horrendous thus far. Better find a way to mask him because he looks lost and afraid of contact right now. Not sure how you cover for the latter, however.

I'd take the Browns roster over the Bills roster any day of the week and especially on Sunday.

Actually seems generous to the Bills. Will absolutely need to shield Edmunds somehow. He is a pile diver and gets fooled easily right now. Good luck.

Lamar Jackson looks awful

There is a reason you don't see guys 6'5 250 playing MLB. Very skeptical.

One of the worst contracts handed out this offseason. Get used to that. Btwn him and Edmunds run defense will get gashed weekly.

He was horrific and that has even been the trend and stated by Skurski in the news today. I love the excuses...."2nd preseason game" like it has only been just that. He's been abysmal in not only the games but at camp as well. ...Time to worry.
