  1. I struggle to understand why some fans can't see the greater season through the vacuum of one game. Our "slow" defensive backs essentially eliminated MHJ, Hill, Waddle, Kirk, and Thomas Jr. in three consecutive weeks. They don't run down an all-time great RB who has a full head of steam, running untouched downhill and our defensive backs are too slow or not athletic enough. This board so far this morning has a "Josh Allen has lost a step" thread and now this one too... geesh
  2. Win the next 2 and we will be sitting pretty comfortably in the division and in the conference, especially if the Jets lose to the Vikings this week. I expect a bounce back game this week.
  3. Some of you need to take a deep breath and relax. Maybe go take a walk or something. Play fetch with a dog or watch the sunset over Lake Erie. It will be ok.
  4. The Jets loss today helps this one not hurt quite so much. 3-1 and on to Houston. Get healthy and stack some Ws again
  5. Took 30 minutes to start playing ball. We started to make some plays and then that atrocity of a play call pretty much ended whatever hopes we had. You can't play timid, and we did on both sides of the ball for most of the night. We looked like our defenders were stuck in their heads thinking about what their gaps/lane responsibilities were instead of just attacking them and playing fast. Tyler Bass is my biggest concern moving forward. Everything else, learn and move on.
  6. I'd say no. Especially because Antonio Brown, Zach Ertz, JJ Watt and Brandon Aiyuk were all just spotted last night at Duffs.
  7. Sorry to hear that. I hope that everything turns around for you.
  8. If I can't be at the stadium, i prefer to watch it alone. The two extremes in this scenario I guess. My dad and I pretty much share the same brain when it comes to watching the Bills so I will watch them with him, when I can. My ex used to always say stupid stuff like, "If it makes you that upset then why don't you just turn it off?" ...and that's why she's the EX.
  9. I wouldn't wish this on any fan base. We all lived through this. The Chargers do seem to be the "in between jobs" friend who randomly crashes on different peoples couches until their welcome is worn out and they are asked to leave.
  10. This may be the most depressing post I have read on here
  11. I never thought that I would ever root for a Boston team again in my life, and I wouldn't really consider it to be rooting for them now. But go Patriots tonight. My answer is that it constantly changes based on the scenarios and how the seasons play out.
  12. I love it. I am very grateful for my time out here. I should be back stateside for good in the spring, which will be nice. My wife and I had a baby boy last year and he hasn't met his cousins or grandparents yet. It will be nice to be back closer to family. Japan is awesome though.
  13. 27-17. Gabe scores. So does Coleman. Jimbo with another big game. Groot, Ed and Von feast. Go Bills.
  14. Out sea in the Navy... so whatever they feed me. ... and coffee. Lots of coffee.
  15. I hate playing the Jags. There are a few people in the league that tend to give Josh trouble. Hines-Allen is one of them. We will need to win our man coverage downs and have the O-line hold up and keep Hines-Allen out of the back field. Josh kills defenses when he sees nothing but the back of the defender's jerseys. I don't think they will take the spy off of him throughout the game. I would imagine a heavy dosage of someone like Oluokun with eyes on Josh. He is a tackling machine. Utilize Cook out of the back field and the quick hitters to Kincaid and Samuel. Hopefully that'll free up a 1-on-1 over the top to MVS. Go Bills
  16. My ship is currently in-port in San Diego so I decided to go to PB Local, the local Bills Backer bar in San Diego. i got there with about 3 minutes left in the second quarter. So... yeah, i showed up and we started to dominate. You're all welcome.
  17. Never been much of a "signature" kind of guy but I would really like to have a conversation with him. He had one heck of a ride in the league from draft day to retirement. Imagine the stories he could tell if he opened up and was honest.
  18. I was thinking about how this offseason feels like it could be a different version of what the bills did in 89. For those not old enough to remember, the Bills had some success in the late 80s, making it to the AFC Championship in 88 and then losing a divisional game against the Browns the following year in 89. It was late in that 89 season/playoffs that the Bills discovered their K-gun offense. That Browns game ended with a Ronnie Harmon drop in the end zone. He criticized Kelly's throw and that offseason he was moved. They came back the next year with the new offensive mentality and lit the league on fire. We have had some success. Towards the end of this season and into our playoff games we shifted our focus on offense and had a playoff game where we had a skill player drop what could have been a game winning touchdown, who then criticized the QB and was subsequently moved in that off-season. That year following that 89 loss was the greatest Bills team of the superbowl era. I can only dream that our 2024 team finishes the job.
  19. Usually will never hate on a Offensive Linemen getting picked, unless it's Cole Strange. I am just surprised because it seemed like Bowers was such an obvious pick for the Jets there.
  20. Thats dedication. I'm in Japan so it's the late morning. 1pm EST start time games are rough on me though haha
  21. Same. i am watching on a military installation on AFN so i dont have any other option and they all seemed genuinely surprised by the pick
  22. Watch the Jets take JJ to sit and learn behind Aaron
  23. I am convinced I would trip over the carpet and face plant
  24. I don't know if some of these posts are satire or if they are serious.
  25. I love the throwback Broncos uniforms. But the late 90s and 2000s uniforms were some of the worst. These ones give off strong Syracuse and Auburn vibes (as others have mentioned). I still think it is a step up from what they had.
