How many years have we gone into the playoffs and been down or immediately lost one of our DBs or starting defensive players. I see no problem with bringing in a seasoned vet to provide quality depth. Maybe if we made a move like this in previous years we wouldn't have had to suffer through seeing Elam or Dane Jackson out there in the biggest game.

All of the angst that we are feeling on TBD, the Steelers fans feel it on theirs. They're in a division that they had a stranglehold on early. Joe B missed most of the year, Jackson missed time. Now look at where the Steelers are. There is a large contingent of their fans that have wanted their HC gone for years. They're currently using the oldest bridge QB in history with no clear cut future laid out yet. They haven't won a playoff game in years and yet they are "the epitome of a stable and successful NFL organization" They are losing their minds that they have DK but don't pass the ball downfield to him. And all of those great D linemen, haven't really had great seasons (to their standards) so far to this point. Which is why they are saying that us being on our backup linemen wont be an issue. All teams, especially in the AFC, have warts. We have ours, the Steelers definitely have theirs. I am mostly concerned about the state of the playing field. I read it is going to be an absolute mess.

You spelled "Isaiah McKenzie" incorrectly -
As mentioned, the AFC is wide open. The Texans loss can potentially help ensure KC doesn't get in, especially if they beat them in Arrowhead in a few weeks. The eternal optimist in me says (borderline delusionary) that we can get healthy come playoff time and go on a run.

Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard

I guess that is an ambiguous statement lol -

Make the playoffs. Anything can happen. -
Yes. I will always enjoy watching the Bills play. It is my favorite thing to watch, even during the lean years. I think that being stationed so far away from home for so long (21 years now), they are a very real connection for me. A sense of pride of where I came from. Go beat the Steelers and things will feel better again.

Allen may be the only player in NFL history that can score 6 TDs but still feel like he left a ton of plays out on the field. Insane I said in the "Predict the Score" thread that we would win big but still have to go through another week of not knowing what we have in our team. 2 score win and I just have no confidence in our defense. That being said, the defense made the stops late to lock up the game. So, I don't know... ... Superbowl, I guess. -

Week 11, Bucs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

The Bills win big and we are all left to continue questioning, and second guessing everything about this team for another week. The NFL doesn't make any sense. 34-17 Bills -
I think Pittsburgh is going to fall out. That division is Baltimore's. If that is the case, and the three wildcard teams remain us, the chargers and the jaguars, that is worst case scenario for the Chiefs as they have already lost to all 3 of the current wildcard teams. Granted, they get another shot at LA.

3*s Allen Kincaid Bishop Honorable mention Hairston. Stride for stride with Worthy on the deep ball. And his first career int. Props to the rook.

Good, clean, hard hit. Epenesa didn't let up on the play, which is what so many people do in that scenario for fear of the flag.

I think that we will win. We got our annual losing streak out of the way and now we are going to go on a run for a few weeks and stack Ws. I think it will play out similarly to last year's game, where we will have a close, one score lead late and then score to go up 2 scores in the 4th. If Kansas City does lose this game, they are in real danger of missing the playoffs. They still have Denver X2, the Colts, the Chargers, the Texans and Dallas. Denver looks to be legitimate, as do the Colts. The Chargers have already beaten them once, albeit their rosters are in much different places now. Dallas can score with anyone and the Texans may be figuring things out. Their Jacksonville loss could really come back to bite them, and if we beat them too but don't win the East (which I think we still will) then that would be two teams that they would be fighting for a wildcard spot that would have head to head wins over them.

Kansas City/Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football

The Bucs completely surrendered control over the game by not going for 2. Sure they could have been stopped and lost by 1 but at least it would've been dictated by them. Asking your D to stop KC with time left, get a coin flip or stop them again and then still drive down to score to take the lead, when you couldve just gone for 2.... Gutless play call. Especially on the road, in Arrowhead. -
The Mt. Rushmore of Seattle bands... people are passionate about "their" band, between the 4 big ones. But most all of the remaining members of Alice, Pearl Jam and Nirvana have at one point credited Soundgarden with paving the way for their collective success. For those going to the game, the Museum of Pop Culture is pretty cool and has a large section devoted to the local music scene, past and present.

10/6/2024 - Bills at Texans post game thread.

I am typically a defender of McDermott, but you can't defend the decisions at the end of this game. He is going to face heavy criticism all week and he deserves it. The defense really stepped up in the second half and made game-changing plays. I hope everything is OK with Josh. -
Are they 3 of the worst teams in the league or is there such a disparity because of how badly we beat them? Jacksonville has been competitive in nearly all of their games and Arizona has had flashes of looking good, including their big win over LA. The dolphins are on a third string QB so they are a tough measure but going into that game, most people in the media had them picked to win. It is easy to say that a team sucks because we beat them by a billion, but don't completely discredit or dismiss the team that DID the ass kicking. Not everyone is beating them like that.
