  1. I agree. It's distracting. That's the real problem.
  2. Hughes is a good player. He isn't great. He is consistently pretty good. But he doesn't get home enough and he should never be considered for All-Pro. I could get behind a Pro Bowl appearance, but he probably won't because he doesn't get the stats. But yeah, I'm happy he is on the team. Just wish we had an elite edge rusher to put up the stats and who consistently gets home and actually gets sacks. Also. Hughes doesn't seem to contribute to run defense all that much...
  3. There are plenty of negative things to point out and talk about, and people should. I just don't think it is accurate or fair to make sweeping judgements about how the Bills will perform in the playoffs or against future opponents. If anything, the Bills have showed an uncanny ability to overcome mistakes and pull out wins. And going through growing pains and still winning football games is a good thing. But certainly Allen needs to not throw into double coverage. And Singletary needs to hold onto the ball. Those are valid arguments. But for fans to say that the Bills would never beat the Chiefs in the playoffs because Allen threw an INT in the fourth quarter week 12 of the regular season is not accurate or relevant.
  4. Maybe the owners will just hand the team over to him.
  5. Well I guess I'm in the minority. I want to see him play more and see if he can contribute. I haven't seen anything this year to suggest that he is as bad as everyone is saying. Yeah, he can't man the #1 corner spot in place of White, but that doesn't mean he can't contribute further down the depth chart.
  6. What's to figure out? He's a running back. He isn't super fast but he is shifty and surprisingly strong for his size. He fumbles too much. That's Devin Singletary.
  7. I can think of many more positives than that. But I don't think people want to hear those. They want to hear things like "We're clearly the worst team ever" and "Our coaches are so horrible" and "there's no way we could beat team X in the playoffs". This place makes it feel like we have a losing team, not a team poised to win the division and host a home playoff game for the first time in decades. We just can't have nice things.
  8. I'm hoping that is sarcasm.
  9. You can bet all you want. Your opinion of the team doesn't affect how the Bills play. The Titans and Ravens have embarrassing losses this year to inferior teams. The Bills losses came against three good teams.
  10. None ever are. That's what fans of this team don't seem to understand.
  11. It was a double digit win against the team that shows they can out up points and play teams tough. I shudder to think what Chiefs fans think knowing the Chargers took them to overtime...
  12. I literally don't know what you are saying. It seems to be that you think we can't beat good teams, but we have shown that we can multiple times this year. So I have to conclude that you are just mistaken.
  13. They have beaten lots of good opponents THIS YEAR. They have beaten the most winning teams in the league (as of last week). So are you saying the Bills aren't a good team?
  14. This is the whiniest fan base in the league. My goodness...
  15. It literally WAS good enough. What are you trying to say?
  16. Killed us so bad we won!
  17. Yeah. Fire everyone...
  18. I didn't notice a lack of energy. The turnovers were bad, yeah, but why does that mean the guys weren't playing with energy?
  19. That one was kind of flukey. It bounced around and eventually into the arms of the receiver. But yeah, it was a little embarrassing to have something similar happen again. The pass was negated by the penalty. Why would they challenge it?
  20. So I guess a win is NOT a win? I'm confused by the mixed messaging...
  21. Agreed. I also work with data and I have come to the realization that you can use data and numbers to pretty much say anything you want. Data sets get sliced and diced and "cleaned" (or just outright ignored) until results are "statistically significant". And football stats are no different.
  22. I wonder if he takes some nickel snaps away from Taron Johnson. Taron hasn't been very good this year.
  23. Hmm. I don't mind their uniforms.
  24. Giants. Are you impressed?
  25. So you are saying it isn't fair because they didn't have as much time to prepare? That's what I'm saying. I think the rescheduling of games has been purely COVID related as new cases have continued to pop up day after day. I don't think they rescheduled any due to competitive disadvantage. In this COVID season things are not always going to be fair.
